Lori, I *Like* what Stacita says "blood tests even better than hoped for" ... and I just echo what everyone else says, but when Nancy F says you are an inspiration to many of us YOU ARE.  You took on a dog that would not have found a home otherwise ... and when all didn't go smoothly you didn't just look once or look fast for a cheap/easy solution -- you pull out all the stops and do anything you can find to do.

YOU are on my "life's heros" list -- and I mean that.  If life required perfection none of us would be here.  If life required that we all 'agree' -- shoot, HOW boring it would be!!  You care and you love.  That is THE best Lori!!

Prayers and good thots for sure (even tho I, too, am late coming to this)  Callie

And not only that but you're darling, too--the both of you, actually. I see Willow all the time here and I do recall seeing you in your wedding dress. You shared it some time last spring or summer and you are stunning!

[sm=angel.gif]UPDATE---First, thank you all SO MUCH for all the prayers and loving thoughts that you always give to Willow.  I truly appreciate that she has all these friends in her life.

We got the lab results---The white blood cell count is about the same!  The vet said that since Willow is doing so well there is no need for futher testing unless we decide to put her on any long term meds.

She's eating well again, it's on and off with her.  She'll go months eating great then suddenly go on a hunger strike.  Anyway, she weighs 48 lbs. which is a great weight so no issue there!  The vet said she looks wonderful, said she was soft, shiney and smelled good!

Willow's vet breeds, owns and handles show ;pekeingnese and has many show dog friends.  A friend of hers is trying to find a home for a chow that she can no longer breed and feels like she'd make a good pet.  Well, she asked ME!  I can't for a few reasons but I still took that as a BIG compliment that she asked!
