    Hang in there, Karen.

Karen, I'm glad it doesn't seem to be an MST.  I hope the removal goes smoothly and the results are something you can work with.

    Continued vibes & ((((Hugs))))

He will have it removed tomorrow morning and it will be sent to the lab to find out exactly what we are dealing with.

That's good because you'll know exactly what you're dealing with and that may give you some peace of mind.  Continued good vibes and hugs for both of you (and the hubster too).

Maybe you guys can find a dog-friendly hotel or something to spend the day/night.  I'm sure the heat, the physical labor ypu've been doing with the bathroom demo and the worry about Bugsy is just adding and adding to your stress.  Maybe a day spent in the AC and a good night's sleep would be good for all of you.  Just a suggestion because the heat does a number on me and I can't take it.

Be the strong woman we all know you are.  You'll get through this; and so will Bugsy.  We are ALL here thinking of you, pulling for Bugsy and sending our strongest healing vibes to him; and our strongest calming vibes to you.

(((Karen))) - I wouldn't be doing well either and I'm not going to tell you to keep you to keep your chin up and all that but do try to stay busy and distracted as much as possible. If you need to have a meltdown though, then do that too.

Do you have an idea of how large of an area they'll have to remove? What are the treatment options or can they tell you at this point? I'll continue with good thoughts and prayers for all of you. (((Hugs)))

Karen, I thought you might want some good info on this from a veterinary oncology clinic.  I know how hard it is to think of your dog having cancer, but knowledge is power, and Bugsy needs you to be powerful right now: http://www.integrativeveterinaryoncology.com/handouts/CANINE%20SOFT%20TISSUE%20SARCOMAS.pdf.  I'm going to pray for low grade, easily excised by surgery and no complications!  We all hope that Bugsy gets through this and is back to his old self in no time.  Hugs to you both.

Karen, what can I say that I haven't already said?  Nothing.  You, Bugs & DH are in my thoughts & on my heart.  Please give the Beast Master lots of lovins from me.

I can't say anything that hasn't already been said, either.  Just wanted you to know you're all in my thoughts.   ((((HUGS))))

(((KAREN)))  ANY form of cancer sucks!!!  Good to hear it's getting removed tomorrow.  The longer it's there the worse!  Hopefully they get wide margins.

LOTS and LOTS of good vibes coming yours and Bugsy's way.  My thoughts and prayers will be with him!

ETA:  There's quite a few clinical studies currently on Soft Tissue sarcomos and if memory serves me correct there *were* clinical studies being done at North Car. St. Univ.  Not sure if they're still being undertaken but might be worthwhile asking about.   DIET and SUPPLEMENTATION!!!

Thank you everyone, it's been a tough day. I feel a little better now, no reason but may be I cried myself to a better place. Johnny I did see that NC state did a sts study, which I believe is over. However if we need further treatment I will check out the oncology dept. there. I will also look into diet and supplementation.

the shock to the system is beyond comprehension. From enjoying summer, hunting fox, spinal stenosis, knee pain, and joyous swims to cancer.

ann I thank you for the link, I've been reading a bunch and we just have to wait to find out what we are dealing with. It will be a very long wait. But I will ensure that my Beast has a blast!

{{{Karen}}}   I'm so sorry. Our cat had cancer in his left leg eleven years ago; it was also some type of sarcoma. They removed his leg (Bugsy may not need an amputation), and he's still going strong. I will be praying for Bugs; please give him some belly rubs for Jessie and me.
