Rainbow Bridge Welcoming Committee

Rainbow Bridge

The Rainbow Bridge is the theme of a work of poetic prose written some time between 1980 and 1992, whose original creator is unknown. The theme is of an other-worldly place to which a pet goes upon its death, eventually to be reunited with its owner.

Sierra, just wanted you to know, I took the RB picture and printed it out in full, then printed out the picture that I still use on my profile of April and I together, her alone and us the day I got her, printed that out, and put them together in a frame to put in my living room along with other pictures of her and her little memorial candle, it is wonderful, now I can see it everyday.  Thanks again for your wonderful work.

Wow, that looks JUST like the field up behind our house, except we're the high point for a few miles around so our trees are actually the skyline (rather than a hill of trees being visible).  Here's some sheep if you want to use them:

The dog in there could represent a sweet puppy, Tully's littermate, who we had for only a couple days before she died trying to help get the sheep in during a bad snowstorm.
