Rainbow Bridge Welcoming Committee

Rainbow Bridge

The Rainbow Bridge is the theme of a work of poetic prose written some time between 1980 and 1992, whose original creator is unknown. The theme is of an other-worldly place to which a pet goes upon its death, eventually to be reunited with its owner.

I'm so sorry to hear about Dena Sad

I hope you don't mind - i used a different pic from a past thread that i thought would fit better into the photo.

That's fine, but which picture did you use? I don't see her in the photo.

What???  I'm so sorry to hear about Dena..  What happened?  Did I miss something?  Run free gorgeous girl!

I haven't posted about her here. There are several threads on my GSD board - the original health thread when she got sick a month ago on her 4th birthday, one I put up today after my vet called yesterday afternoon to say that she had lymphoma, and I also put up a memorial thread last Saturday after she died. I'll post the links if you'd like to read about it, but I'll warn you, they're long - there are a lot of replies.

Strange - I saw it fine. Could have been a cookie issue --- But either way, should be fixed now.  If you still can't see her, try refreshing the page. If you still can't, let me know.

     I see her now, thanks.

Oh no! I didn't know that Dena was sick! I'm so sorry to hear this :(

     Sierra,

I didn't have much time with Buster before he passed, and since he was sick the whole time in my care I never got a chance to get a picture of him. Is there anyway you can write his name in the picture in small just so he can be a part of it? Or maybe use a star for him?

    Cassidy's Mom,

I am very sorry for your loss :(

    Sierra,

I'm not sure what happen to the pictures. They were there yesterday.  I'll repost them again. Sorry for the inconvenience.

    Sierra,

Can you please add my beloved pet Mickey to this Rainbow Bridge. I had to put him to sleep yesterday due to old age and medical issues. It broke my heart badly and I'm still having hard time recovering. He was a great day for 14 yrs, always have a big smile on his face regardless. I miss him so much, not once I stop thinking about him.

Also, can you please add Boo too. I lost him last September while we were not at home. It appeared that he died from head injury.

Both of their deaths have left me so heart broken.
