 What happens on other forums is just that...what happens there. It doesn't and shouldn't play into this forum or the members here. If I do see that behaviors toward members here are being expressed because of what they may have said on another forum then we will be talking privately, as I said, what happens there stays there, don't bring it here or you will be the one in the hot seat.

Since Jaime posted, members have been doing a good job of following her advice, by speaking with respect. Good job!

Ixas_girl or someone else, can Amstaffy's message be stated differently.  I don't see a clear cut message and I may be influenced by my own personal values.  Is Amstaffy saying that when you belong to multiple forums it is ok to bash the other forums.  And if a member finds out that another member bashed them personally on another forum and brings it up on the innocent member's forum, the innocent member is on the hot seat?  I must not be understanding or something is not right here.

A will be in the hotseat with Jamie. No one else. Just A.

I would like to pm Amstaffy but my experience is she is busy and doesn't at times respond.  Totally understandable.  I think others can respond.  I guess in the situation that exist here and in this thread, Snownose and myself are on the hotseat.  I just want to confirm and understand.  I may have a different value system and for me I want to understand this forum's definition of fairness.  There seems to be left out of Amstaffy's message is why the hurt party is on the hot seat.  I recall under the old TOS there was a specific rule governing this and I did not think nothing of it because it seem to be standard acceptable behavior.  Just looking for a confirmation.

My personal opinion is that the member or members who are making mountains out of molehills will be the one that Jaime is annoyed with.  If the "offending" member isn't being offensive here, there's nothing any of us can do about him/her.  Jaime is VERY firm in her belief that everyone is entitled to their three strikes.

David, if you have an issue, Jaime absolutely will return your email.

Thank you Ixas_girl for your considerate comment.  I am wondering if you can respond and state your understanding.  Am I on the hotseat?

i reserve the right to speak my mind on any forum/email list/bulletin board/etc. that i am a member of so long as it is within that forum's rules. if you take offense to something i said elsewhere, that is just too darn bad. freedom of speech and all that.

i cant speak for the administration of this particular board, but i hope that was a clear enough statement of my own personal guidelines.  

I posted a legit question and people ran with it....if that puts me in the hot seat, so be it......I am getting to the point where certain members I once respected are no longer worthy of respect........you know ...the be nice and we are nice all the time group......not really true....hypocrocy comes to mind.
