Paige - I'd be livid too but my sister was the same way, so I got used to it selfish attitude. My SIL is even worse. I have to try to stay as far as I can from the situation because I can't keep my mouth shut. I'm glad that you were find someone to help out with Zoe though. She sounds like a true friend and dog lover.

I went to the gym and there were 3 huge trees that had fallen down in front. Fortunately, all 3 fell into the street and not into the parking lot. What a huge mess to clean up though.

Question - We have a lot of small squirrels around this office park and I saw a couple running about yesterday. Where do they go when it's stormy?

To their nests, I think.  Sometimes I see squirrels out eating & such in the rain/snow and using their tails as a sort of umbrella - they hold it tight to their backs and necks.

What is the countdown to Maui, Cathy?  Gotta get my suit ready!  LOL

I noticed a new pet food store on my way home from work a few months ago, and kept forgetting to google it to see what brands they carry.  Finally remembered to look it up today, and they carry Orijen!!!  I called them just now to find out their price on the 29.7 lb bag of the 6 Fresh Fish....$69!!!!!!!!!!!  WOOT WOOT!  I've been paying $86 from k9cuisine, but now I can get it from a store 3 miles from my house for less money!!!

I told the lady that I've been ordering it online because I couldn't find anyone close by that carried it, and she said the closest one she knew of is about 50 miles away (yikes!). 

I feel like it's Christmas morning.

It won't be Gracie - when she gets up off the couch, she puts her front legs down and streeeeettttccches, while letting out a *poof* girl fart in your face.  Those of us with Dobes know about Dobergas.

Cathy - I've been wondering weird things about squirrels, too... like, for instance... I've seen them doing a zillion things out in nature, but have never seen one pee or poop.  I know it happens, of course, but....

and, yes, my sister is a tool, IMO.  At least lately.

Edit to add: Patrick had his staples out yesterday and the vet was VERY pleased at how well it's healed up.  Hopefully good things are going on inside, too.  The only reason it looks so good is Patrick was soooo good about not fighting the e-collar cone - just dealt with it and didn't need the bite-not collar at all!!  YAY for good old puppers!

Paige, your sister sounds like a real piece of work.  I'm glad that you found someone to take care of Zoe.  That should be the last thing on your mom's mind right now.

Recently, Bev has decided that it's fun to come sit on your lap, & fart.  He's a silent but deadly kinda guy, so you don't actually hear anything, but the blast of warm air on your leg is just sick.  I am never quick enough to get him off of me before the sickening stench starts wafting, & singeing my nose hairs.  It's horrible....

ETA:  Paige, I'm glad that Patrick is doing well!

Question:  How many cops does it take to deal with 2 women & an infant who were being talked to about shoplifting?  Answer: 4.  Am I the only one who thinks this is a tad excessive?  Our tax dollars hard at work.

T-minus 7 days until my cast is removed.  *crossing my fingers that it will happen & I don't need surgery*.  Any spare vibes would be appreciated.  Sorry a wine is coming.  I hate my crutches.  They hurt so much.  Y'all will hear me celebrate when I put them away.

Paige, it's sad that some people don't act like family unless it benefits them and you can hope that someday your sis will change but if not, don't lose sleep over her.  Voice of experience talking here.  I'll be thinking of you and your family tomorrow.

I will take Mr. Confinement if you'll take Pirate and wear his butt OUT - I've been caught up in homework and whatnot and he hasn't had any proper exercise lately. It should be a cakewalk to tire him out, compared to B, and since B is supposed to be resting, he can help me do homework.
