Can folks send them easy surgery/super healing vibes?

Done!  I hope things go well and recovery is smooth and uneventful.

Liesje, I'm glad you have one nostril open, breathing is a good thing.  Hope you feel better soon.

Tina, I did see that moon this morning and it was really neat looking. The sky here was just starting to clear out and the clouds were playing peek a boo with the moon.  Agnes, way to go!

The thought of that webinair makes my head hurt.  Good luck with that.....

Courtney, it all evens out in the long run. Make him some cookies or some treat he likes and it will be like it never happened.  I think it's like getting a speeding ticket when you feel you didn't deserve one.  There were plenty of times when you didn't get one when you were speeding and got away with the infraction.  That makes perfect sense to me but not sure if anyone else will understand. lol

Deb, I'm glad your sinus' have cleared up.  Vodka in the am is best with oj but it doesn't fool anyone if they know you......  How's Kate, btw?  Didn't she come home with the flu?

We were interviewing yesterday.  It's really amazing the things people wear and say in job interviews.  One young man asked me if we would get him a PDA so he wouldn't get confused about where he was supposed to be during the day.   It was hard to answer with a straight face.  Another guy brought his entire family to the interview.  I understand if you have to bring everyone for some reason but couldn't they wait in the car or maybe drop you off and go visit Grandma for a little while?  Twister did enjoy playing with the kids.

She was really pretty sick for a couple of days and then she started feeling better but couldn't shake the cough so she had to have a second nebulizer treatment and was much better after that.  She went back to school on Sun. so she could have a day to try and catch up on her class work.  She did manage to rack up about $250 on my credit card before she left on Sun. - I swear that girl could out shop anyone !!!

    Thanks for asking !!

Well it's definitely a better, brighter day and if we don't see any more rain for a few months, it'll be fine with me. Our power went out here at 4ish yesterday so I started my drive home. It normally takes me 30-40 min's and it took me an hour and a half. My car shows me the average speed and it was 7 mph for the first hour Sad. I've honestly never seen so much damage on the roads and so many trees down. I think having a storm so early when all the leaves are still on the trees made things much worse. I hope DH was able to get some rest but I'm betting they were running all night long.

Your storm is going to give me some cooler weather for which I am grateful, but sure am sorry it was so bad there.

Good vibes for the Aussies, glad that everyone is feeling a bit healthier.

I'm whipped today.  I did some work on the RV yesterday and even though it was cool, it was humid so I worked up a good sweat and failed to drink my V8.  Paid for that little mistake all night in leg cramps that woke me up, over and over and over and.......argggghhh!

Have to go down to the station later today and practice voice tracking again.  NOT my idea, not something I want to do, but its become not optional at this point.  I was pretty excited yesterday to master a new computer skill AND not suck at the same time.

Deb, I'm hungarian too! My paternal grandparents came here in 1951, and my maternal great-grandparents came straight off the boat back when there must have been dinosaurs roaming the earth.

PPA, good luck with keeping two aussies calm, LOL.

My BF met me at Panera for lunch, he ordered for himself and not for me. I had to stand in the massive lunchtime rush line, so he gave me his card and I ordered my lunch, a cookie, AND a bagel. Ha. That's what you get for not being a gentleman!

Back from lunch and I'm a little bummed out.  Got a letter from my GYN, who I've seen for the past 14 years, saying he moved his practice to BFE, which is about 1.5 hours from me.  He and his entire staff was awesome and it'll be hard to find a new place where I feel as cared about as a patient.  Plus, there really isn't anything else in the town he moved to, so it's not like I want to drive 3 hours round trip and not have somewhere else to go while I'm there (like shopping or friends).  What a drag. Sad

Try putting a bar of soap between your sheets next to your feet... you don't even have to unwrap it. The VP here at work had a cast on his leg and he swears by it!

Both of my maternal grandparents came over on the boat.  My grandma was a tremendous cook.  I try all the time to replicate her recipes, but I can never get "just" right like she did.

P.S. Both of my paternal grandparents are Irish, from which I get my considerable drinking skills.
