Small earthquakes will be felt all over the southern midwest today, and maybe further.
Readers digest version. And this is not a good story.
We have some new dogs in the neighborhood, 2 pitties and a chi mix. 2 have active parvo. Yes, she told my neighbors and they warned me. And the dogs are getting out because she will not fix the fence that is her back fence and actually runs between our garages, gives the dogs access to our drive and the next street. Her chi mix and parvo dog 1 got out last week and John chases him back and warned her about the fence, he did it again 2 days ago and I chased him back with the same warning.
This morning the pit parvo dog 2 got out, shot out of my drive, over the street and went to the house right across were someone was being shown the house. I was watching because they parked in front of my house and I was being nosy. In the time it took me to get the front door open to shoo the dog home with another warning it had already started back, and at the same time cars were coming.
Yes it got it hit. It did get tapped and rolled but it got up and by the time I ran to the back it was already under the fence and back in it's own yard.
Now I'm sick, and I was not dressed for going out in the chill. But I was MAD. So I stomped out and went to the fence and called for the owner who was in her drive. She told me I had to wait, she was doing something.
I exploded.
I am sure that her ears are bleeding from the blistering I gave her. I did make her cry and I don't care about that either. To make it short, she had 6 hours to fix that fence or I call animal control and report her dogs to the city. I don't want to do it, but I will.
My husband, my one neighbor who also saw the dog get hit and I are going out back to actually try and do something with the fence, we know she will not and I don't want a repeat of today. It hurt knowing that the dog was possibly injured and that I would not touch it.
Stupidity abounds.
