• loveukaykay Posted : 5/4/2006 8:32:10 PM Well DH hasnt seen her yet, we were out last night then up at 3:30 for a fishing trip, and just got back a few hours ago and hes still sleeping... I did tell him about her and he said Im crazy and he doesnt think he wants one right now, BUT, he hasnt SEEN her yet.  I mentioned it to my mom who was the easiest and I showed her and there wasnt much she could say, hehe.  My dad was like NO WAY!  and especially when I mentioned what kind (Iguess the big dog thing is too much to handle) he was really like NO WAY!  But, I need to show DH and keep working this....   She is SO sweet looking, those eyes just talk to me - I NEED HER!  Dont worry guys, Im workin on it, and Im not giving up till shes here... even if they all say OK OK! just to get me to shut up about it[].... heh, whatever works!   Cant wait...[&o] 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available. Maybe you could work out a compromise; if he agrees to the puppy you'll let him have something he's been wanting. • loveukaykay Posted : 5/5/2006 6:48:17 PM Well, I dont agrue much at all, and I didnt approach it like that it just ended up like that because it was just NO, no matter what I said.  I got more offended that I was being told NO like that than anything... like at least talk to me about it or something or ACT like you care about what I want.  I dunno, I guess I was just expecting something different.  Were not fighting or anything dont get me wrong, in fact we are about to go to dinner, but I am just sad and surprised at his answer.  I dont see why we shouldnt get her.
