I really really do, I think Im going to have a talk with DH...?  I also think I have a thing for tan doggies wif bwack noses....

Ah, I just see something in her... I would want to meet in person to see if its there, but I get a feeling about things and I need to have her... Oh why do I go to that website?

Oh gosh what a cutie! Also she is a shepherd mix! Awww.

Don't feel so bad I do that too. I'm looking for my next girl a german shepherd mix. I know she is out there and there are so many that I want to adopt. I just hate to see Blue without a playmate and hanging out with these cats which don't play with him.

I love being his playbuddy, but I know he would really like to play fight and mommy's just don't cut it.

Petfinder is dangerous! That's how we ended up with Odin. I got online, saw him and fell in love. I asked someone to convince me I shouldn't get him, but no one came up with a convincing argument. And two months later, I'm so happy he's in our lives. [:)]
    Good luck with your decision!

She is adorable, and since you have a think for tan dogs with black noses, you have to at least check her out in my opinion.

Good luck with it, she and Bailey would look cute together!

    I keep looking at her...

Do GSDs shed a lot?  I think I saw Glendas post about how hairy her house is, but shes got so many... Kayla didnt really shed and Minnie or Bailey doesnt shed, when Lucy is here she sheds everywhere and its a pain.  We unfortunately dont live alone right now as we purchased a house together with my parents (business opportunity for the four of us) so that we would be able to buy way more than either of us can actually afford alone, and then sell it when the value rises in a few years (because more expensive ones rise way way faster). Anyway...
    that does pose a problem.

    - Trust me we all get along great or it would have been a bad idea, lol -

Anyway, I have to convince DH and unfortunatley them too... my mom wont be hard but my dads not as crazy about dogs as the rest of us are and I know it will be a problem... But if I persist Im sure I can get her.... Hes gettin to be an old fart and complains of too much hair and too many dog under his feet... BUT in a year or so we are not going to be living together anymore so I dont think I should care, right?..?  I so do want her shes got a look in her eyes that caught me immediately... and now Im stuck...[&o]

    wow, what a cutie.
oh yes, petfinder..... i hate it, i'll just go on there and look around and just get totaly attached, thats how i got Bailey [;)]
My friend had a GSD, and it didn't seem to shed that much.
You should get her, she looks like a perfect addition, good luck with your dad, i know it can be hard, it took me 6 months to get Bailey.

    Do GSDs shed a lot?

    [sm=rotfl.gif][sm=rofl.gif][sm=biggrin.gif]

Ok I'm done laughing. Yes GSD shed alot and I mean alot. I have hair balls everywhere and all over my sheets. There is a reson why I don't have that much dark clothing or bedsheets. If I get black pants I put them in a bad as soon as possable that hair gets into all most everthying. You have to do lots of brushing and vacuming the dog if you can or your floor. However after you been around with a shedder you don't notice all the hair. They are great dogs and very smart too.

Amy, she looks just like Max did when we snagged him out of the shelter.  He's a GSD/lab mix (I think) and looks like Kayla's twin.  And yes, he sheds like a hair machine, but he's worth it. [;)] I just keep the old Dyson out all the time.

Actually, I disagree that they are terrible shedders, and part of that will depend on what the "mix" is.

Yep, I've been buried in fur for the last few weeks.  BUT I have a LOT of german shedders and it's spring shedding season.  Normally, shedding isn't an issue, and a good brushing 3 or 4 times a week keeps everything under control.  Spring is the worst for my crew, but fall is shedding season as well.  But, things are settling down finally.
