whining for my mom she's been out of a job since July 23rd she's currently looking for one but so far no luck at all. Now her water heater is leaking she gets unemployment which is only $560 a month her mortgage is $400, I'm trying my best to help her out. She's getting more depressed by each day.
I've had a yardsale and sold things that I really didn't want to sell to give her some extra money, I've entered contests I'm trying everything to help her and it seems like it only me that is helping her out.
When will this economy change already someone get out their wand and make things better for everyone please
I know how you feel. I've been unemployed since January. While I am grateful for the time with Willa, I feel guilty for being on unemployment for so long. It helps out a lot, but it's still not the income we've been used to for the past eight years. I had to sell (trade) my car, and currently our four-wheelers are up for sale, and DH's motorcycles are up for sale. He rides his Harley every day to work. But he's hoping he can sell it all then get an enduro, so he can ride it on and off road. If we sell everything, it will help pay off the second mortgage, and will give us a little extra cushion for when unemployment runs out. I will definitely have to get a job then, and I'm hoping to find a part time job that will let me work mornings. Otherwise we'll have to pay for child care, and that will probably be more than I earn.
I am currently doing some freelance graphic design from home, but I just feel burnt out on it.
Our house is too small for one more kid. We're either going to have to move our bedroom into the basement, move Willa into the basement, or swap the master bedroom and Willa's room and put both kids in one room. That's probably the last option because Willa is an awesome sleeper, and I don't want to mess that up when the baby comes. It won't be fair to her because she'll probably be stressed out enough already. I don't think moving is an option because with me being out of work, I'm not sure how good of a loan we could get.
Temporary comic relief: Rupert just ripped a big one and gave me that innocent look. [&]
