    Maghee is not having a good day therefore I'm not having a good one either.

     Give her some lovings from me, Annie.  {{Hugs}}

    Annie, hang in there.  Hopefully, Miss Maghee feels better tomorrow!

    Paige, be careful of Jackie's brownies.  They usually have a "special" ingredient.  Wink  Seriously though, keep your head up.  You luck is going to change soon.  I just know it.

    Really??? I want the recipe. I don't have any brownies but I did make a blueberry/cream cheese coffee cake for DH. I hope there's still some left when he gets off work Big Smile

    A girl that was abducted 18 yrs ago near here walked into a police station today. She was 11 when she was abducted. I can't even imagine what she and her parents must be going thru.

    I read about that!  Not that it's any of my business, but I'm curious what happened to her and what kept her from going home sooner.  They said her step-dad had been relentlessly pursued as a suspect when he had nothing to do with it.

    Thanks for the encouraging words, ladies.  No more whining, but bring on the brownies!!!!  I've never had special ingredient brownies before...

    I wonder too but I have a feeling that it's one of those situations where he kept her confined for so long that she came to accept that this was her new life. She had 2 kids with him and one is 15, so that means she was pregnant at 14. I'd like a few min's with him and his wife. The stepdad totally nailed the description of the wife and the car they were driving. I hope he feels a sense a relief now. They're playing a jailhouse interview done with the captor and he's a delusional pig...taking deep breaths so I don't throw the remote at the tv.

    I got to talk to my friend in Iraq last night - that was so nice. I stayed up way too late - but it was worth it. It was nice to chat with him again (even if it was just over facebook chat!). I worry about him all the time. =/

    Jack got adopted today. Fingers crossed that no one loses a finger! He seemed like a nice guy - wanted to work with him.

    I have chem work to do. And I don't want to do it. Any takers? I've got cookies, no brownies though.

     yea for Jack and fingers crossed - may be his adopter is as nuts as me LOL

    haha - one can only hope! he didn't seem to understand when I kept saying he'd throw temper tantrums when he's tired or hungry... (he had just had a play date with a boxer, and ate a big lunch....) but we'll see. he wasn't scared off when I showed him my battle wounds on my arms....Huh?

    Fingers crossed (and kept safe from biting jaws) for Jack & his new adopters.  I used to show off battle wounds from the ferrets - I called them the Twilight Ferrets because I swear, they were all out for blood!

    Anybody heard from Ron how his teaching position offer is going?

    • Gold Top Dog

    YAY for Jack getting adopted!  Hopefully his new owner will be able to turn him around!

    Erica, I'll do your chem, but it's going to cost you a couple of cookies!

     My behaviorist was thrilled with the strides we'd taken in the short time I had time - she said he was a totally different dog when she was working with him. The guy has my number, and hers - and I told him to not be afraid to call - we want this to work!
