Agnes seems to be feeling a bit better - at least her butt didn't explode yesterday! So if she can keep food in and get a little strength, I will pursue treatment for the heartworm.

The weather is supposed to be beautiful today - mid 70s and sunny. I wish it were like this year round.

I'm off to find some chocolate and then I suppose attack these invoices.

We got our AC fixed yesterday. It's only been what, a month? We got so used to it being 80+ degrees inside all the time that last night, with the thermostat set to 75, I could barely fall asleep because I was cold. Stick out tongue

Tina, fwiw, I think that you're being very smart about getting some weight on Agnes before dealing with the heartworms. We finished heartworm treatment with Brutus yesterday, & I am so thankful that he survived it. We started treatment in mid-May, & it ended up taking about a month longer than originally planned because of complications. Looking back, I should have been more patient and waited a little while longer before starting treatment.

Anyone want a dobe? Bevo has been on a tear for the past few days. Last night, we went to bed & he decided that he was going to sleep between DH & I. He pushed his way in between us & then shoved me back so that he could fit more comfortably. After he made himself comfy, he decided to do a "squeaker check." Usually, he noses my butt to see if it will squeak, but last night he nosed DH in the crotch instead. For the record, DH did squeak. Embarrassed

This morning he's still being silly. When he finished his breakfast, he decided to try to interupt everyone else. I had to gripe at him for dragging Schatzi, on her crate pan, around the utility room. Confused

For some reason, I felt the need to bring him to work with me even after his goofy behavior. Currently, he is out visiting everyone else in the office. Ladies & gents, hold on to your coffee cups!

I didn't get pics or video. Unfortunately it happens more often that I'd like to admit, so I'll try to get some next time.

Yeah, me !!! Rained a little bit this morning - kind of cloudy now. I SO wanted to sleep in today. Kate was at one of those all day/night head banger shows yesterday and I couldn't sleep until she got home. I'm too old to be pulling all nighters !!! Maybe I can take a power nap at lunch time !!

Tina, Schatzi just sat there looking really, really worried. Luckily, she didn't pee herself. I'm pretty sure that was the first time that he's picked on her. Normally, he likes to grab Shooter's crate & toss it around a bit while Shoe is in there eating. Generally, Shoe kicks his butt for it. Schatzi did nothing but look worried.

Campbell has a doxie sister and brother and the female is exactly like this. She basically cowers when C goes near her, but she is at ease around Bugsy (apparently that is the only dog she is at ease with other than her doxie brother)

Speaking of B his rebellion was even more significant this morning when I left for a bike ride. Wonder how long it will be before he 'accepts' we are allowed to wander and exercise without him? Huh?

Busy day and I feel so incredibly nauseous. Yuck.

Why you ladies think I'm grouchy is puzzling me. I am the picture of serene happiness at all times. Now get the heck out of my way, I need some coffee and your in my way.

Karen, we were very good yesterday. Well, I was but Amanda got a little raunchy as usual. She's always talking about her underwear or lack of although she accuses me of having my mind in the gutter.

So, who wants some chocolate?

I'm off to Trader Joe's and I'm verrrryyyyy hungry, so this could be an expensive trip. I could eat before go but then I wouldn't buy much of anything and regret it later. See the things I have to worry about these days? Wink

Cathy, I have the same problem when I'm going grocery shopping. Too hungry, I buy too much. Full, come home with toilet paper and dog treats. lol
