    rw-Ellie's girl

Just the one so far...sectioning her for the rest. This girl came early this morning after a VERY very long  birthing process on Ellie's part. This is a BIG puppy...esp for a small 13" like Ellie. It wore her out to the point that I did not want her to try and pop the others out...hence the section. Wish the remaining family members yet to be...luck, and enjoy these few snaps of the "big girl"

Big girl is staying with me while Ellie is at the vet's...she is not overly happy about that judging by her squeaks lol. But she is well fed and warm so she'll just have to deal!

Ohhhhhhhh, you do not want to know where my head went when I saw that itty bitty baby!

I love her color and I think you should call her Fate.

I am sorry Ellie is having such a hard time and needs a section. Lot's or prayers and warm puppie wishes your way.

    You go Ellie girl!

It would be disturbing if I admitted I want to eat that puppy, right?  She is SO adorable!

Best of luck with your section Ellie, even though I don't know what that means.  May all your babies be as beautiful as Tank.  ~off to google~

Puppy #1 is beautiful and huge. Boy, you are not kidding. Poor little mama. More prayers for an easy section and speedy recovery.

Mmph!  SPOTTY!  Is she really that mottled or is that just damp fur/lighting weirdness?

Good luck to Ellie with the rest of them...sending her oodles of happy mama-dog thoughts!

she is a red and white...like my Susie was...her grandmother. She will mature to have patched areas of red on a white background...the arrangement will stay as is, tho the intensity of the red itself can vary, as she ages the white will mix in more (roaning...like in horses).

I had a couple of red/white in a different litter that were the "other" r/w pattern...the solid sided red with white lines down the back. I prefer the patched because it has more character and uniqueness Smile

    Oh, she's adorable!

Fingers crossed for a quick & easy section.  Does your vet do an epidural or will Ellie be under normal anesthesia?

    • Gold Top Dog

EEp!  I just saw them on FB and had to rush over here to find an explanation as to why there was only one.  She's so freakin adorable!  Love those pudgy little toesies!

Do you think my dad would be ok with the,"Can't come in to work today, I'm on puppy watch." Excuse?
