Mindless Tuesday....I think.

Yep, it's Tuesday.  Sorry your ankle is swollen, but sitting on a porch enjoying the sounds of the waves isn't such a bad way to spend the day, esp. if you've got a really good book to read.  Better than work!

Hopefully Shooter didn't have gas. 

I keep having this recurring dream about me re-joining the Navy, but I can't seem to find the ship I'm supposed to be on.  Or I'm on it but can't find my work station.  The other night I also had another of my recurring dreams where I'm on a flight in a capsule sort of spaceship and I'm supposed to fly to the moon, but I am scared of falling off the moon.

I really must be nuts.

 Seems like last night was a weird one for dreams! I woke up to 3 of my friends' facebook statuses mentioning bizarre, unpleasant dreams.

I had a dream that I was taking Rascal to a training class (hosted and attended by fellow forum-ers, of course), and the first thing we did was take our dogs' leashes off, and Rascal decided to run away and then got hit by a car. I woke up all upset, then finally got back to sleep, and then had the most vivid Anne Rice-like dream where I was investigating ghosts in my family and my family's house, and then ended up having to do some sort of battle with the malevolent spirits once I discovered that they had killed and pickled a young girl some 100 years previous to steal her "powers" or something similar. Yeeeeegads.

I woke up and turned all the lights in the house on, and I'm still jumpy! Going to be hard to get work done today!

Fortunately I didn't dream last night, or if I did I have no recollection of it.  Phew!

It's so darned humid here the last few days I feel like I'd need a hatchet to cut throw the air.....doesn't do much for me getting stuff done outside......

Off to run a zillion errands....again.

 Add me to the list of unpleasant/strange dreams. 

I dreamed the BF thought he was being haunted/attacked by a demon and he called in a priest to drive it out of the area.  I was there and I could here 'something' coming.  It was like in a scary movie when the music reaches the cresendo (sp?) I told the priest I could hear it and explained to someone what it sounded like, no one else heard anything.  Then I was being chased into a shop that I owned and stuff was being written on the inside of the door by something and there was a big moth-like thing trying to attack me.  

Weirdness.

Sheesh  . . . . . . . . what are you ladies smoking these days to have these weirdo dreams???  I want in !!!!

Ok, I blame Kim...my dream was I was watering the garden, but half my garden was real, the other half virtual...................someone help me I am losing my grip on reality!

Glenda, the seeds have arrived! I will get them in the mail either tomorrow or thursday.

 I had a dream that I called my boss and told her I wasn't coming in. Well, I didn't realize that was just a dream until 9:30.....after I was supposed to be at a meeting at 9. That is so unlike me. I hope she isn't too mad.

I do have a major headache today though. Stupid weather. Where is our summer? That is what I want to know!

Julie - I think you win the dream contest. I hardly slept last night, so no dreaming for me :(. I also had a bad headache but was pleasantly surprised to find that tylenol actually worked. Whew!!

I have my pre-op appt today and am very anxious to hear what the dr. has to say. I haven't really talked to him about the surgery other than him calling to say "you need a hysterectomy". Hopefully I won't get any unpleasant surprises.

DH spent most of Sat. researching the best price/place to buy the flat screen tv he wanted. He thought he struck pay dirt and ordered it. On Sunday morning, he decided to check something online and found about a gazillion horrible reviews for the company. He tried calling them to cancel the order and got the run around. He was starting to freak out so I told him to just cancel the credit card (it hadn't been charged yet) and that's what he did. He later found the same TV on EBay thru a very reputable seller and ordered it thru them. Geesh, the whole thing was exhausting though. Wouldn't you think checking out a company's credibility should be done prior to making the purchase?

Ok, being me, and wanting to give my dogs plenty of soft comfy spots to lay on the hardwood floors, I have doggie beds all over as well as in the crates.  I just mended five of the danged things.
