I worked from 10 - 4:15 today, I spent the whole time rearranging boxes and organizing computer discs. Awesome Tongue Tied I have a major headache because I haven't eaten one thing all day but I'm about to eat a personal pizza- yum! Tonight, I'm taking the dogs for a jog and then relaaaaxing. :)

I really have nothing interesting to write, lol. Oh, I did figure out what my ideal career is, lol...a vet tech. I'm starting college this fall so obviously a long time til then but OMG, I'd LOVE to have a job that I *LOVE*, lol. Plus discounted vet care? Not too shabby!

Try to get some volunteer hours in with a clinic first - before starting school. It sounds like an ideal job for most animal lovers - but trust me! NOT for everyone! I thought I wanted to be a vet, until I started shadowing surgeries - and realized I have no inerest in surgery. Surgical assistant, sure - but I have no desire to do that actual surgeries, like I though I did.

I leave for vacation on Thursday! I'm beyond excited. So much to do between now and then... laundry to finish, pet food to purchase *sigh*.

It's been raining... again... my tan has really suffered, but I don't feel like going to the tanning bed. Maybe I'll get some sun in Wisconsin? I can hope...

Lies, hopefuly Job B will come along with an answer soon!  And tell those downers to be quiet. Wink

Honor won't stop yipping while wrestling with Eli.  She never yips.  Until now, and it sounds like shattered glass scraping on a chalkboard. Indifferent :::insert earmuffs emoticon:::

What to have for dinner?  I have raw chicken breasts, rice, alfredo sauce, elbow noodles, american cheese, and lettuce.  I should be able to make something out of that, right?

Well, isn't this a pleasant bunch today!!

Max's mom, I hope the appointment went well and you have some positive feedback from it.

I should be packing, but have no desire - I actually slept for several more hours than usual.  I think it's because the weather is overcast and dreary.  I guess my next move should be making a trip to Wal-Mart or Target to pick up more packing tubs.  Fingers crossed I meet some hot, wealthy, kind single guy who wants to hook up with me and take me out on his boat or with him on trips. lol

I need to check in on my pseudo-nephew in rehab.

    I should be packing,

    Are you moving again?

I don't know why the guy who does my hair always thinks he needs to put ALL the hair products he has on me when he's done. I have straight hair already and putting some slick type gel junk in it just makes it look dirty. I always plan to tell him "no" but forget until it's too late. Good thing I don't have anywhere important to go after work.

Yep, Denver.  My sister got a job with a company there, so I either move with her there for free (her company is paying relocation), or I try to make things work here (Seattle area).  I'm not interested in that option, mostly since I can't afford to rent her house, or any place around here right now.  Before I ever moved to Tucson or Seattle, I'd considered moving to Colorado on my own, so I'm thinking I can give this a shot, at virtually no expense to me. I'm looking forward to Nuggets and Broncos games, warm weather, and good skiing, if I even last there until the winter.  At this rate, who knows!?! lol

Cathy, I think that's the hairdresser code.  Use as many products as possible so that you have no choice but to rush home and immediately re-wash your hair to get all the gunk out. Wink

I have poison oak.  AGAIN.  Can't...stop...itching!!!!  I think I got it when I was washing my old truck the weekend before I traded it in.  The spigot is behind some bushes, so there must have been some poison oak growing in there.  I was wearing shorts and I know my legs brushed against the bushes, so there you have it...poison oak all over my legs.  I've been through almost an entire tube of cortisone cream already.

On a happy note, a friend of ours who lives in Tennessee and is in the Army will be on leave from Afghanistan this week.  He and his wife are coming to HOTlanta for the weekend, so we're totally psyched to see them.  Going to watch the UFC fight Saturday night and grill out some yummy food.  Very much looking forward to it!

That sounds great. I have to say that for all the moving you've done, it's always been to places I wouldn't mind living and that includes Denver. I hope it works out for you there but if not, there's still California ;)

It's ok.  Just don't let it happen again!  Wink

DH & I met friends at a karaoke bar this evening.  Since gaining kids, we seem to have lost touch with some of our friends.  We had a great time, & it was really nice to get to see everyone.

True!  There's always a chance of an earthquake, but that would be true for anyplace along the west coast.  The cost of living is a little higher, but the weather more than makes up for it.
