So sorry to hear about ur missing dogs, Hopefully they come home soon. Drive around calling their names, when KittyKitty went missing for over a month I went driving around calling her name at all hours of the night. But some how she found her way home.

Sending good vibes, and call the cops and report it.

This is the second time this has happened to you.  What is UP???  There is just something wrong with this picture.

I sincerely hope you find them very, very, very soon.  I also hope you find out what's behind these two instances of the dogs "randomly" getting out of the house when JJ is supposed to be in charge.

    Yah, something seems very fishy.

My first thought however could one of the dogs have learned to unlock the door or at least discovered if they fiddle with it long enough it might just po open for them?

Holly's home. No Lillie though. Gonna take Holly out in the direction she came from and hope for some sign of Lillie.

She came home or you found her?  Well, anyway, good that she's home but I know you can't rest till Lillie's back.  I'll keep the vibes and prayers going.  GO HOME LILLIE!!!

    Is Holly okay...?

Super vibes that Lillie makes it home safe and sound...

I am just seeing this and have no clue if what I say may be of help.  My late husband fell outside trying to get the newspaper.  A neighbor helped me get him in the house, but didn't know that my Bassets will follow their nose and run, so the door was left open for a bit, and Biscotti scooted.  I took the car out for a good hour looking for her and came back frustrated.  Then I decided to go out on foot to look, but which way to start?  So I went left toward a busier street (not terribly busy, but the direction we usually started our walks on).  I found her sniffing around every bush she could find, and she willingly came to me...snap on the leash.

Prayers going out that Lillie comes home!

    Holly's fine. Dirty but fine.

I was on foot looking for them when I found her trotting towards the direction of the house. Holly isnt leash trained so trying to get her to show me where they were didnt work.

Are you saying that JJ can't even be bothered to let the dogs outside when he gets home and/or before he goes to bed?

He doesnt mess with the dogs unless I ask him to. And me going to the lake was a spur of the moment thing and he was already at work when I decided to go.

Glad that Holly is home and praying for Lillie's return

Just seeing this now.  I'll add my Get Home Now Lillie vibes to the list.  At least if Holly came back, they likely weren't stolen right?

So the door was open, but not unlocked?  Could it have just not latched properly?  My bathroom door does that.  Sometimes I'll lock it when I'm in there, and Kali will come along and just push on it and it will  pop open, still locked.

JJ knows how important these dogs are to you right? Confused

My back door does that too...in addition to locking it, you have to push it really hard until you feel it catch. I'm thinking about you and Lillie...keep looking...I wish I could help.

I do think it is weird that he didn't know if the dogs were in the house or not. (not in an "I think he let them out" way...I just can't imagine not knowing if two large dogs were present or not...one of them not even living there permanently, so more apt to make some sort of noise when he came in)

Hope you find Lillie soon, safe and sound.

Fingers and paws still crossed here!  Lillie...  Get your fluffy butt home NOW!!!  You're momma is worrying herself crazy.  Holly... No more exploring for you!  You are grounded!
