    I need....

     Come home NOW vibes.

Lillie and Holly are gone. Nowhere to been found. I have looked for 3 hours. Knocked on everyone's door 5 miles each side of me. I seriously knocked on every house I came to.

    Ok here's what happened.

Last night I went to the lake and spent the night. I left here at 7pm. I took Joker and Kujo. Fynn was in his crate. Cheyanne, Lillie, and Holly in the room. I locked the door. Double checked the lock and left.

This morning I just couldnt shake the feeling I should go home. So much to Samantha's dismay we left. I get home and here comes Cheyanne to greet us. Door to the sunroom wide open. No Lillie or Holly. The door was still locked.

I have gone to every house, called the dog warden, called the paper, and now have paper flyers ready to put up.

Lillie has a collar, rabies tag, and name tag. Holly just has a collar on. But it dont matter around here because most often you will never find your dogs and if you do they've been shot. I have a very very bad feeling this time and I just want to scream.

I take care of my dogs. I feed them, water them, keep their shots utd, dont let them bother the neighbors, exercise them, let them be part of the family and yet this stuff still happens? I dont get it at all. Makes me so angry.

I was just gone one night. One freaking night and they were in the house!!

I need vibes badly and any advice you can give me that might help me find them in the middle of freaking nowhere. Especially the way these people still think out here when it comes to other peoples dogs.

I do not know how long they have been out or where they would have gone.

Can JJ help you narrow the timeframe for when they went missing at all?  I mean he would have to know whether they were home this morning right?  Maybe he let them out to potty and forgot to put them back in (I think this happened once before, right?).

OK, Lillie and Holly you go home right now!

Kim, make a post and put it on:

Find the dogs first. Deal with the how it happened later.

ETA: You do need a time from for how long they have been gone. Could Joker find them?

Oh Kim, this is terrible.  Sending many go home NOW vibes.  Stay positive.  I agree, find them first then deal with how it happened later.  I hope that JJ or someone can tell you they last time they were seen.

    Keep us posted, please!

What am I missing here - if the door was locked how did they get out?

Prayers and good thots -- when you put up flyers DON'T use color-- use black and white and blow up a picture beyond recognition -- when you stand 10 -15 feet back SUDDENLY it focuses but it's way more visible from a car driving past.

If you can get those sheet protectors put them in and THEN staple them up on telephone poles -- that way the first rain doesn't make them illegible.

Prayers and good thots for sure.  Good for you that you heeded that 'gut feelng'.

Oh no!  Kim sending all my good thoughts your way that they are found or return soon.

Lillie and Holly!!  Get your booties home asap!!

Kim, I really, really hope you find them soon.  Fingers and paws crossed here.

Go door to door. There's nothing better in a rural area. Stop in all the local restaurants and gas stations, the post offices, etc. Hang signs there of course, and pass out flyers at every house (or leave one if no one is home).

Stress that although there is a reward, the dogs are NOT valuable. Tell everyone that they need meds and special food (you give them supplements and feed them premium food, right?).

We did this when Ben went missing soon after our moving here. No one ever saw him, but after the word got around that he needed super-special food and meds twice a day, he mysteriously re-appeared at a neighbor's (who had the same house number, but different road).

really hoping you find them. Was your house opened by someone or? Anything taken? Maybe someone knew you were gone and wanted the dogs? But odd they'd not take all...

I hope they come back or you find a serious lead soon.

Oh No!!  I am so sorry Kim.  Sending Get Home Vibes.  (((HUGS)))

I hit the streets again and knocked on more doors.

No one has seen either dog.  How in the world do all the strays in this area find their way to my house but no one has seen my dog?!! And I walk with these dogs everyday also. No one has seen them. No one. Not one single person?????

I do not know why the door was open when it was locked. JJ said it was dark when he came in so he didnt know if the door was open when he came in. Great! Now I dont have a time frame of when they dissapeared. Anywhere from the time I left at 7pm until I came home at 10:30am.

I cant have Joker find them even though I have been teaching him Find It. The towel Lillie lays on the kittens lay on also so that wont work. I brush her with the same brush I brush Fynn with so I cant do that either.

Thanks Brookcove for the advice. I will put on the flyers that Lillie has special needs. It's not a total lie she does need certain food.

If someone stole them I dont understand why they took the dogs and not JJ's stuff that's in the room. There is a new chainsaw, weedeater, leaf blower, air compressor in the room. You'd think they'd took those if they wanted something.

I just want them to come home!

I think you might consider calling the police? I mean if someone opened your locked door while you were out...they might have left fingerprints? Was there any signs of HOW the door was opened?

I mean dogs aside if someone was entering my home while locked I would call the police and make a report simply to keep things documented if they came BACK.

OMG! What good does it do to call the freaking newspaper place when the ad wont be in until next week?!!!

Are you saying that JJ can't even be bothered to let the dogs outside when he gets home and/or before he goes to bed?

    *content removed, rude*

This is the second time this has happened to you.  What is UP???  There is just something wrong with this picture.

I sincerely hope you find them very, very, very soon.  I also hope you find out what's behind these two instances of the dogs "randomly" getting out of the house when JJ is supposed to be in charge.

Last time Coke got lost, I had taken the trash out and never re-latched the gate.  I let him out to potty (well after dark) and did a few chores, then went to let him back in.  I thought it odd he wasn't at the door, usually he sniffs around a while, goes, and then sits at the door or barks if he's impatient.  Then I realized I'd left the gate open.  It was so dark there was no point even looking.  There's a wooded area between the houses on our street and the big mall on the other side, and at the end of our street is one of the busiest streets in the state so I don't like unintentionally chasing dogs in that direction.  I put some kibble in a bowl and jiggled it around, called Coke a few times, put the food in the yard, and pretty soon he came on in and collected his reward while I shut the gate and praised him for coming home.  If he ever gets out again I'll just scatter food in the yard.
