 got my period, and between cramps, back pain, nausea, headache AND mood swings, i just wanna curl up in a ball and die...

so dispite the diet i bought myself a bag of chips, which of course means now i feel bloated and pretty close to throwing up.

Me too!! I didn't have to buy chips, I impulse bought a bag of honey bbq ones when I grocery shopped this weekend. We can be miserable together JM. I realized last night that I no longer own a heating pad. I would have sold my kidney for a heating pad...

They are corn shelled tacos.  They fry them up somehow so the shell puffs out (its like they are hallow inside).

Only very fresh corn masa will puff up, which is why many places don't make them or at least not correctly.  Not authentic???  I live in the Tex Mex capitol of the world and they are highly prized and revered!  LOL  Amanda, you must not like Tex-Mex if you don't know what puffy tacos are.  LOL 

I'm going to go have my  taxes done in an hour and I'm not really looking forward to it. Maybe it will be better than I'm anticipating, but somehow I doubt it.  I need a freezer too.  I need to find space for a smallish stand-up one.  I have a bottom freezer on my fridge (it looked so neat when I bought it) but I have really come to hate it.  I'm always pulling stuff out looking for other stuff and nothing ever gets packed  back in t he same way. I need to be able to just open the door and look in to see what's there.

Karen, the thought of Bugs & Bev together terrifies me.  For some reason the vision of a huge freezer sitting in the middle of my living room, with Bev & Bugs happily eating in front of the tv, popped into my head.  Very scary!

Lisa, we have no mud right now, but Bevo, Chyna & Shooter found & rolled in duck poop this morning on their walk at the lake.  I had to bathe them because the smell was awful.

I WANT PUFFY TACOS!!!!!!

ETA:  Sadly, Jackie, DH & I eat out very regularly.  (Too often actually.)  We have Mexican food at least twice a week, & I have seen puffy tacos, although they aren't called "puffy tacos" but I've never tried them.  I saved the pic on my phone so that I can ask for them next time!  The waitstaff already thinks that I'm nuts, so presenting them with a picture of what I want to order should come as no surprise.

 ooooh i want a garage!! hehe. I kinda have one, you can't park a car in it & still get out. LOL. it's tiny & crammed with the ural, whizzers, and xtracycles & assorted other 'carp' I collect. I was laying in bed last night dreaming of building  new chicken coop. having the chickens free range 100% of the time isn't working out. they REALLY like to hang out on the porch & poo everywhere, I'm getting tired of cleaning it constantly. Oh but my mind was going!! I was thinking of super cool ventilation stuff, maybe little 12V fans that run on a thermostat. Hi tech chicken coopy. 

then that led to 'ooh i can extend awning on the run in shed & we'll have even more storage space!'...........I got up this morning & though. BATHROOM FIRST, BATHROOM FIRST. trying to refocus. hehe we've had an outdoor shower for almost a  year. it's getting a little ridiculous. That & I KNOW theres a leak under my house in two spots. I need to get down there & fix them. I did figure out that i might feel a bit more confident with a wetsuit & a pair of coveralls on. underneath my house ooookes me out! especially if theres any water/mud under there!! yuk!!!

Amanda I have the mental image of B & B each in a comfy chair with distended bellies and discarded fiddly bones all over the room.  Sort of like grizzlies catching salmon and just eating the roe LOL

All of this food talk makes me want chicken tacos...I think that's what I'll have for lunch.

On a big high note today, I discovered I've lost two more pounds.   All of this exercising is paying off!

I just got a 4th monitor at work...whooo hooooo!  I love new toys during tax season!

The dogs got a great supper tonight. I went to a friends and she had cooked roast, potatoes, and carrots the other day but then decided to go out to eat instead of eating the above so she gave me the food. I split it between Lillie,Joker, and Fynn. They are still licking their lips!

For Valentine's Day, DW wanted to get me a new cd but she wasn't sure what to get since there are so many new releases. So, we went together and she let me pick. So, I have "Chinese Democracy" by Guns and Roses. And I have been enjoying it all week. It stays in the cd player. My instant favorite is "Street of Dreams" but the whole album is good. There's a variety of influence and style on this album. The title track is classic GnR. "Rhiad and the Bedouins" is heavy metal.  "Street of Dreams" is balladic. Then, again, I'm a crazy fool for melody. And Axl is doing even better things with his voice yet has matured in his song writing, which appeals to me. We are about the same age and it's nice to see some things change and other things, like love, are eternal. I have every GnR album and I'm glad to add to the collection.

try using pirate as a heating pad... i always use moca. havent really had a heating pad since i have the dogs to be honest. they arent always up for it, but i say, they dont have many duties at all. when i need them to make me feel better, they better step up! lol
