 I got an update on Dillion, Hannah, and Izzy.

Dillion weighs a whooping 15lbs and 10 weeks. I knew he was gonna be a big boy!

Izzy the little female that looks like Clifford weighs 13lbs at 10 weeks. She is best buddies with the teenage son and everyone loves her.

Hannah is 10lbs at 10 weeks. Her name isnt Hannah anymore. It's Seirra. She's enjoying all the laps she gets to lay in. I miss her.

 got my period, and between cramps, back pain, nausea, headache AND mood swings, i just wanna curl up in a ball and die...

so dispite the diet i bought myself a bag of chips, which of course means now i feel bloated and pretty close to throwing up.

Me too!! I didn't have to buy chips, I impulse bought a bag of honey bbq ones when I grocery shopped this weekend. We can be miserable together JM. I realized last night that I no longer own a heating pad. I would have sold my kidney for a heating pad...

 

try using pirate as a heating pad... i always use moca. havent really had a heating pad since i have the dogs to be honest. they arent always up for it, but i say, they dont have many duties at all. when i need them to make me feel better, they better step up! lol

Sigh - Pirate HATES snuggling. I want one of those bags with the rice in it and the lavender, and you can heat it up in the microwave.

I did just have some delicious Thin Mints and didn't feel guilty. PMS = chocolate.

I have a couple of those rice bags that a friend made for me and they're really life savers on cold nights.  I think if you have just basic sewing skills you could make one.  She just takes a couple of pretty pieces of flannel, maybe about 18 to 24" long and about 8 to 10" wide, puts them together inside out and sews them up on three sides.  Then she turns the bag right side out, pours in the rice and sews up the last end. They hold the heat for about an hour. Just make sure the D*O*G never gets hold of it.  Max snagged one a short time after I got him and I came home to find 5 lbs. of rice strewn through three rooms and the entry.

Kim, I can't promise you what kind of condition Lillie's coat would be in when I send her back to you.  I have wash & wear dogs because I know that I'm not willing to do much grooming.  If you're ok with that, then send her on!

News of the day......Bevo is off prednisone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I am so happy!

 Luckly for you Amanda Lillie dont have much hair these days so you wouldnt have to worry about grooming her. I dont know what's going on with her hair. Im still trying to figure it out. She was getting such nice belly fringe and now it's all gone.

Bevo is off pred!! YAY!! I'm so happy for all of you.

My knee still hurts but 80% less than the last time I wrote here. Although, I can't bend it more than 90º. I'm doing physiotherapy and hoping for improvements... if not, that will mean I have a thorn ligament and I'll need surgery. Please, if you symphatize, send me "no thorn ligaments and get well" vibes, I'll be very grateful and Thor too.

Calinisima, sending you "no thorn ligaments and get well soon vibes"!   Hope the therapy brings continued improvement.

Amanda, it's fantastic that Bevo is off the pred!!!!! Yippee!!

Use a pillow case!  Dump the rice in, fold the top over several times and just hand stitch the top shut.  All three of my cats have "rice bags" for their beds at night.  THEY won't eat them.  We were using socks for us for nighttime before we got the propane heater and those little things really held the heat all night.  And those I just knotted to close.  But, yeah, once heated several times apparently the rice smells good and toasted and Tyler ATE ours.  Talk about a mess to clean up!  In my bed......
