Dang it. I want to play WOW. But I am freaking 1070 in queue. Gonna take like an hour to get on. Guess I will watch tv for now while I wait. I hate waiting.

For those who dont know I will be getting my IS show boy tomorrow!!! I so can not wait.

In a house, no, I don't need heat at 50 or AC at 80.  In this RV however, gosh darn, it gets nippy, and in the summer, the sun beats through the huge windshield and on the roof and its like sitting in an oven.  I couldn't use my AC this summer because my friends electrical system won't support it.  I put heavy pallet cardboard behind my verticle blinds, used a ton of fans, and hosed down the roof now and then when it got really hot.

A house at least has insulation, this has not so much, so yep, when it started getting down to 50 and below at night, the heat went on.

Willow, my crew are sending some virtual butt sniffs.  Get better!

I've had the rabies pre-exposure series.  When I got them, it was a series of three injections.  The vaccine stung a little, & my arm was a little sore the next day.  I believe that it is boostered, or you have blood drawn for a titer, every two years.  I went through all of that good stuff about 4 years ago, so things may have changed now.

Willow, get those blood counts up!  Prednisone SUCKS!!!!!!

Shooter, & I did our first therapy visit this evening.  Shooter enjoyed himself, & was a hit.  I, otoh, am not sure that I can handle visiting a funeral home on a regular basis.  I am rarely at a loss for words, but I'm not sure how to, gently, say "I'm sorry that your loved one died.  Would you like to pet my dog?"  It just doesn't seen like the right approach to me.  I'm sure that I'll figure something out.  Shooter enjoyed himself far too much for me to hold him back.

We're supposed to get them..we deal with wildlife and such in addition to domesic animals that might not be vaccinated..but my workplace procrastinates. The last time we had to quarantine an animal only one tech, who is the only one vaccinated, could handle it. She had to come in daily, on her day off, and on her weekend off to care for it.

And I hope Willow's blood tests come back better soon.  I think sometimes our Chows hold out on healing just to frustrate usWink

I'm contemplating a rabies series myself - talking to my Dr. on Friday about it.  I've heard they have a new version that uses less vaccine and is sub-q vs. IM and I think that's the way I'll go if it's available around here.  That version is supposed to have less chance of adverse reaction too.

My vet said she just titers every 2 years and has yet to have to booster her vaccine - it's been about 10 years since her initial series.

My cat's feeling better which is making me very happy currently. :)  His tummy apparently likes Proplan Kitten more than Blue Wilderness lol. :P

I'm thinking that I'll let the faucets drip tonight as the water coming out of them is already ice cold and I'm not completely sure where they are located but have a sneaking suspicion they are in our unheated crawl space! eek!  Low's supposed to be around 23 tonight.

Kate, I love your new signature--that's beautiful.

Thanks, Lori!   I'm sorry Willow's blood tests didn't give the results we all wanted for her.  I'm sending "get better Willow" vibes.
