omg they are precious!!! And I am sorry but I have to agree with everyone Bugsy needs a play mate, since getting my puppy Chip is a much happier dog I highly recommend it for you & your dog.

I told him I was going to go today and bring home one, he gave me an emphatic NO! LOL

Anyway if I ever get him to agree to number 2 it will be 2-3 yrs old

Wow, everyone is right....they do have some nice dogs at your SPCA!!  Ok, I'm gonna have to get my brother (he lives in Garner) to go pick up one of those dogs for me, lol.  Harry needs a brother or sister, too!

Karen, just do what I did.  Constantly casually mention that Bugsy needs a friend.  If your DH is anything like my BF, you'll wear him down eventually.   Emailing pictures of dogs up for adoption was the best trick I did.  BF couldn't resist all those cute fuzzy faces!!

Those puppies are so cute...I love them all.   Those long ears are so adorable.   Reminds me of our Bassett's ears when she was a puppy.  Those sweet faces how could you possibly pick?   I think Bugsy needs one of these puppies to take care of.  I do have to say tho I love the ears on DA Vinci the Brown Lab too.

I think Karen should get a BC next time because she deserves a more mellow laid back dog!  Or a Maremma because she needs a more clingy, biddable, easily trained dog.  Hee! 

My husband did the emphatic "NO!" thing as well, and he came around eventually and now we have two. Right now they are playing and chasing each other through the house - they have so much fun together!  I definitely think Bugsy needs a sibling.  And wow, there are tons of adorable dogs at your SPCA.  I don't even know how I would choose!
