This is terrific to see!  Way to go Callie and David!

Yay Callie and David! Maze sends her thanks as well now that her coat is nice and thick and shiny. If I didn't your advice I'm not sure where Maze would be fur wise.

So a giant gold star for both of you!

You and David are truly some of the most caring and sharing people I have ever come in contact with!

I think it's safe to say that Callie and David are the bomb!  This just proves the point nine(?) fold.  We're all lucky to know someone so selfless and giving.  May it come back around to them. Big Smile

    Hear hear.

Every day I am astonished at and inspired by Callie's generosity... and I am sure David has a heart to match hers.  But once in a while she does something EXTRA SPECIAL taht makes you do a double take (Like Tinkerbelle for example, or these demodex puppers) and makes you think... hang on a minute, what do *I* do with MY time?  Who do I help and inspire?  Do I take time out of my day to really try hard to make every person I meet feel really valued and WORTH something?

    A toast methinks! .... Drinks

True Angels ~ they are! I also want to personally and publicly thank Callie for reaching out to me during a most difficult time in my life. I am also inspired by your generosity and hope that one day I can pay it forward. We need more people on this earth like you and David!!!! Thank you for all you do for all creatures! :)

Another little bitty *grin*!!  I called Carolyn at Leaves and Roots this morning to tell HER thank you (she just spuriously gave me a discount on this - nothing huge but significant).  I've been in there several times, and I've linked to her from our website for years.  But we aren't exactly bosom buds either.

But I told her "the story" and how incredibly thankful they are ... so in 3 weeks when we 'change herbs' I have feeling I'm gonna get more help from that corner.  She was already in research mode trying to help me figure other herbs (which are things I've already done but it was GREAT to have her "on" for us!!)

The world is a better place because you are here.

Angels aren't just figments of imagination or ethereal whisps of plasma. They have feet of flesh and sometimes have four dogs. And live in Florida.

"When you have done so unto the least of these, you have done so unto Me."

Wow! I've only been on the forum for a little bit, however, I was present during Tinks rescue.. and wow, Callie and David, you both are AWESOME. Something good and great better be coming soon for you guys and your fur family (like winning the lottery), or I am gunna be mad! LOL You and David are what animals of all kinds need.. So charitable and very loving. Keep at it! Truly inspirational.

I just want to add my "round of a-paws" for Callie (and David, too).   I am continually amazed at the amount of time she dedicates to helping all the people on this forum, and as Chuffy said, it makes one wonder why one isn't making better use of the hours in the day.  I honestly don't know how she does it, considering she has a busy job, a husband, a home, and a family of pups to look after!

I was somewhat new on the forum when our dog's health began it's rapid, final decline, and I was profoundly touched by the support she offered via email and phone to basically a stranger.  Those were very dark weeks, and the kindness offered by Callie and other members was quite simply what kept me going, and to this day I'm deeply grateful.

I can only imagine the number of guardian angels that watch over the Callie/David household -- the volume of good deeds they've done surely means that they're on the receiving end of zillions of good wishes from humans and critters!

Just to update everyone - we got the Roots and Leaves delivery yesterday, so the dogs are one step closer to feeling better! The dog kennel manager is off today, so with any luck, we will receive Callie's package today and can begin the full treatment tomorrow for these cuddly canines.

Excellent news. Threads like this make my day. We have squabbles and differences and some knock-down drag-out donnybrooks but, day in, day out, we're here to help and we have Callie setting the bar, the standard.

Not only are we blessed to have Callie in our forum and lives, but we are blessed to have you here, as well. For there you are, moving heaven and earth to help the helpless. And not for glory but because not doing it is inconceivable.

Corollary to the verse I quoted earlier, "blessed are the pure of heart, for they shall see God." That is something that can transcend your human frailties and foibles.

And thank you for sharing good news in a world that all too easily highlights the bad news.

I second that. I have been touched by her kind words and Thor too. I'll never forget about that line: "aunt Callie says..." How much that have help me to deal with the not-fun stuff.

    Thank you Callie and David!

RAH the Leavesandroots.com stuff got there YESTERDAY?   RAH!!!!

The stuff from my house (soap, gloves, and some 'goodies' Tink says are "high value treats" enuf ta make Baf-time O... K ...) will get there tomorrow.  I'm way too much like a kid at Christmas -- I LIKE packin boxes *grin*.  s'fun!!!

Now, Stormy -- Tink says I also gotta teach you the "baf song"

"99 bars of soap on a wall, 99 bars of soap

Ya take 1 down, giv-a pug 'nother bath ...

98 bars of soap on a wall!"

But YOU can say "pit" instead of "pug".

SHE expects this stupid song.  But it helps me 'time' how long ... and no, we never get to one.  But we usually get down to 50. or ... there-abouts

But you gotta remember the storee about David and I trying to give this pug a bath in a MOTEL room sink the first night we had her.

All I had for 'treats' were Cheerios.  And Tinkerbell made it PERFECTLY CLEAR Cheerios are ok ... but definitely NOT "high value" treats enough for something like a BAF!!!! ewwwww.

So now you understand why Tink insisted I send some of the 'good stuff' (Gerbers freeze dried fruits, whatever did I do before you!!!)

Yep.  I whole heartedly agree.  Callie (and David :o) ) have done so much to help me through....oh let's see...EVERYTHING!  Seriously, *love* them.  Awesome people and I'm so glad this forum is blessed enough to have Callie.

     ((((((HUGS))))))

Oh, Tink, what a big helper:) Callie, once again, you're awesome.

And, hey, do we get pictures of the puppies?
