Settle in Canada (Calinisima, Thor & Co.)

We are here!!!!!!! It has been an amazing time. The travel was HARD but we all arrive safely.

The cats and Thor were all the time close to eachother and Thor and my male cat, Luke, took a little of a medication called Quiet, their vet recommended for both. My female cat didn't took anything, she wouldn't take a pill and also she is kind of like Dory (from the Nemo movie) Smile happy in the most strange times.

My DH and I spent all the 14 hours (aprox.) of the flight and waiting time in Mexico, thinking, worrying and bothering the airline staff asking about the pets. Thank God everybody was patient, considerate and helpful, I can say Mexicana de Aviación was good to us and our furry family.

We arrived in Calgary at night very tired. We all slept in the same room, the cats all over me and Thor by my DH's side in the floor (we need to get a queen size at least to let him snuggle with us LOL). The next day was great, Thor looks happy and we are too. Everybody has been nice to us and Thor, we are in love with Canada an their people.

Yesterday we got our internet connection, I couldn't wait anymore to say hi to all of you here! And Thor too...

He seems to be remembering the flowers we had in our garden in Venezuela... These are the only ones we have here Confused

Yeah, Canada just got a bit cuter with Thor in it....!!!!!!!!!!!!

Glad to hear all your furbabies made it okay with the flight...
Hope to see more pictures soon...

Thor looks great...I remember that flower picture too!!!

I haven't been around very much, but I'm glad you arrived well and I hope you enjoy Calgary! I love it here... though it can be very busy, as with any city I suppose. It is very dog friendly though for the most part, which is what I really like about it. :)

Oh I am soooo glad that your travels went well! I would have been a wreck too with all my furbabies on the plane!

Oh Thor you are such a gorgeous sweetie - I'm sure your mom will grow you some more flowers but it is good that you can make do with those Big Smile

I'm glad the flight went well, and that the pet's weathered the stress just fine.. Big Smile Don't forget to buy Thor his Timbit, thus offically introducing him to Canada! Wink

Ah, Timbits, they have made their way into the US in certain areas, by Buffalo and such, and Sammy is in heaven when we hit up the drive thru!

Thor definitely needs his tim-bit (and we need pics) in order to settle in.

I remember flying with my fur family during a move and it was mega stressful worrying about them, especially when I could hear Monroe barking from below. Tongue Tied It's great that the cats and Thor handled it so well.

Good luck, I know that you will make lots of friends quickly and easily.
