Mindless Chatter - Thurs

I've done that before Julie.  I get up and see my hair is not greasy and I'm not really dirty or sweaty but then I go to work and end up feeling....icky!

Today I get a Nikon D40, free of charge, w00t.

I have so much crap to get done.  We're leaving tomorrow, hopefully by 5:30.  Before then I need to pick up the house, vacuum everything, run the dish washer and put the dishes away, mop the basement floor, clean the cat litter, clean the bathroom, pack all our stuff, somehow get ALL the stuff in the car (with NO trunk space b/c the crates are already in there), make sure DH gets money and mows the lawn, set out all the stuff for the cat sitter....
 

 They decided last night that we are now working 9hr shifts and 6 days a week. We didn't get any notice we will be working a extra hour and I guess the last time they did something like that they got in trouble since they are suppose to give 24 notice. Who in the world loves turkey bacon so much?? All I can say is I hate all you turkey bacon lovers right now. Yes I need the hours, but not like this...

Didn't go to bed still 4:30 this morning and bf friend wakes us up at 7:30 since he is suppose to work with his friend today since his boss is in need of some extra hands at least till something else comes up. Been up ever since can't go back to sleep since he is gone and I'm so tired yet sleep wont come. The apartment is a mess need to clean it and do some wash, but I don't feel like it. Need to find someone to take me to work today since he is working. Got to call Time Warner and find out when they are going to put my phone in told me that mid July it would be in, it's August still no phone.

My back is bothering me again and I missed my last appoint with the chiropractor now I wish I didn't my back kept doing spasms last night didn't help the meat kept jamming so I'm pulling the meat out. Surprising my wrist didn't bother me last night my wrist been hurt need to check it out when we got more money hate to hear what the doctor will say. Since I started having problems after the infection I had in my hand when I got that nasty dog bite in it and didn't get medical attention to it like a year back. Like to know why it hurts at times and why it's so weak to any pressure on that hand.
 

Ok that it I'm going to try to go back to bed at least for hour or two I hope then will do something since my brain is in fog not mention my butt will be dragging. 

 yet another day of construction workers here - these aren't instilling me with confidence so fingers crossed.

Bugsy is so quiet that he spooks all the workers because eventually they notice him standing behind the baby gate, poised and watching their every move LOL  Little do they know that if they come any closer he will get all wiggly and bring them a bone.

I'm permanently hungry and sleepy these days

I need some more clients quick not sure if it's doable as the economic climate isn't great.  So need to find some money

I have about 5000 phone calls to make today and I don't feel like calling anyone. Boo.

~L~ I was walking Pirate this morning and we saw the lady who lives in our complex, who has two bichons. The dogs were saying good morning and the lady sniffs and goes, 'What are you wearing, Chanel?' I almost died laughing - I was covered in Skin So Soft to keep the skeeters away. HAHA, Chanel.

 Am trying to work but feel very sleepy today, DH woke me up early to bug me about something unimportant and I didn't manage to get back to sleep because there was a cat HOWLING outside.  I'm sort of suprised that it didn't drive Ben batty, he's asleep though and has been for most of the day.  Lazy animal, he'll go nuts when it's park time later but it looks like it's going to pour with rain, fun for me. 

Am tempted to text some friends and see if they want to go to the pub for a drink tonight, I've been busy this week and could use some social time.  

DH, otherwise known as "laid back about everything guy" is finally properly excited about a breed of dog...one that happens to be even rarer here than Maremmas.  He asked if we could have one instead...erm, no.  He can have one AS WELL but I am not driving to Switzerland to get it.

I started trimming Onyx' pants yesterday.  She grew major major coat on them this winter and STILL hasn't blown it.  But its looking dirty and its getting tangled so we're cutting it short.  She seems pleased, but can't understand why she can't sit down and watch me doing it.

I cleaned my vacuum out and shined it up really nice yesterday, only to fill it right back up with dog hair.  Honestly what kind of dog blows another coat in August?

I am getting very irritable - we have had a parade of workers through the house this week - when they did the porch the nails to the house went into some pipes - so they have to move out my vanity in the master bath, replace the pipes, and put it all back together.  OK it's a custom unit - 14 yrs old (built with the house) and about 6 ft long and no we aren't going to redo our bathroom because we have a nail in a pipe - CAN SOMEONE JUST DO THE FREAKIN' JOB?  

Bugsy is so good but man is he tired of being put away and unknowns wandering HIS house.

 It's actually not Bergamascos, though he does really like them.  It's Entlebucher Sennenhunds, which are a LOT like a Greater Swiss but a little less than half the size.  He's been looking at pics and reading about them and saying "oooh can we have one can we have one?" There are NO breeders of them in the UK, as far as I can figure out.  Funnily enough, personality and temperament wise one would be really perfect for us.

We're the rare breed crazies, over here....sigh.  It's actually very heartbreaking to be into a rare breed or breeds, because getting your hands on one is so difficult.

Don't worry, I was sitting down the whole time...LOL  I actually find grooming the beasties relaxing most of the time.

I only have one phone call left though :) whoo-hoo! and I'll need lunch before I tackle it - I have to call the financial aid office at school and that is always time-consuming.

not sure what you are referring to when you say 'that'  - in an update he hasn't gone crazy at the wall again but he refuses to sleep against that wall.  I'm thinking that it is bats in the wall - DH thinks I have bats in my belfry HA!

My mom and I were talking about a relative's very premature baby, and SHE (the mother of 3) says to me (the mother of nothing but dogs):  "So, how many weeks is it that women are pregnant?  I forget."

I had to tell her... "Well, there's a lady on our dog forum who is pregnant, passed the 40 weeks mark and is desperate for the baby to arrive.  So, I have to believe 40 weeks is it."  So, Candace, your suffering has "educated" us. lol  Hope you are meeting your baby soon!!

I extended my vacation to stay here in NH and see family, friends - but yesterday was pretty dull and I have no plans for today other than getting to my storage unit to go thru STUFF. Feels kinda lonely, though, being all by myself.  (Parents went back up to their lakeside camp today.)  Wish my BF was here with me.  He's too busy working on the new house - and his regular full time job.  (Plus he just got back from being in a wedding.)
