How much do you spend on dog food per month?

 I rotate between Evo and TOTW right now. TOTW is about $44 for a 30lb bag. Evo is about $54 for 30lbs. I will probably rotate in something a bit cheaper too, just haven't decided what that will be yet.

Which TOTW do you feed? And one bag of either feeds all 3 of your aussies for a month? Makes me feel a little better about paying 40 bucks for a 30lb bag.

Before I joined this forum I was feeding my poor dogs what I thought was good dog food. Pedigree and Purina. I thought paying 20-25 bucks for Iams was crazy!!! Now you'll find me  in the dog food aisle looking at the ingredients of dog foods forever and not thinking twice about spending 35-40 bucks on food.

 Yeah me too. Although I do still kind of like Purina ProPlan and One. Dakota ate One for years and years and did great on it. I wonder though if that food is partly to blame for her IBD that she has developed in her old age. The vet and I talked about that. You just never know. But she is 15 and still going strong so it couldn't have been that bad.

No, one 30-lb bag only lasts about 2 weeks in my house feeding all 3 aussies. Neiko and Abbie are big eaters. Lily only eats 1 cup per day (what most dogs eat half her weight) but Abbie and Neiko have high metabolisms. Abbie because she's a puppy and Neiko because he's all muscle and is very active. This is part of the reason why I like having Neiko on Evo. It has a good amount of fat, protein and carbs and really keeps him going.

I spend around $38 a month for 3 dogs that are 28#, 33# and 37#.

 I spend 30$ a month on Cal. Nat. Herring and Sweet potato for a 50lbs dog. And 10$ for a month on the cat. He gets No Name or Purina Cat chow. Which every is on sale. I'd switch him but he seems to be doing really good on those two.

I spend $30 on the 30lb bag of proplan lasts me a little bit over a month sometimes.

The last time I bought EP it was $55 for a 33 lb. bag and that lasts for about three months - so I guess roughly I pay about $18 a month for dog food.  That's not counting treats.

I feed Bravo raw. I've been buying a 5 lb roll and a 2 lb tub of tripe every week. That totals around $30-35, for two small dogs (one of which is a puppy, and both of which eat more than the average bear), per week. I also add some carbs to Ena's food (trying to fatten her up to show her *sigh*), and use a toooooon of chews and treats. So, a zillion dollars a day. If I really counted all of the supplements, food, chews, treats, etc, I'd cry. 

     We go through two 34 lb bags per month @ $19 each + tax. So figure $42 per month for the adult food, for nine Beagles and one 65lb mutt. The puppy food is about $13 per 17lbs. If we have a litter on the ground we'll go through anywhere from 1-3 bags of pup food monthly ...

 I really haven't figured it here lately, it was $600-700 a month and I think now with a few changes it is maybe a little over $550 a month. I would have to calculate but I know it was about a $100 less then that (like $400-450) when I first did some adjustment but then we had jump in meat prices. Some of my dogs eat not so much maybe 8oz a day or less but others eat 2lbs a day, so it all just kind of evens out. They range from 20lbs to over 100lbs. I put the info for each in one of the food threads.

For 2 jacks, 13 lbs and 21 lbs, $67 for 20lbs raw (mOrigins). Not including bones and homemade training treats.

I'm feeding Wellness and 30 lb. bag costs about $50 and this last bag lasted about 6-7 weeks so i'm goin to say around $30/5 a month for a 55 lb. dog.

 rw, what do you feed cuz thats a really good price for a 40 lb. bag.
