Happy (approximate) Birthday, Shadow

By my calculations, Shadow was born sometime this week in 2003. A friend had bought him at a pet store around Labor Day 2003 and his purchase paper lists his age then as 6 weeks old, give or take a day. So, he is 5 years old. These are pics from this spring but they will do. He already treated himself to a birthday meal. On our walk today, he caught a mouse and ate it.

Happy Birthday Shadow! River will not be 5 until October but he agrees with the cold being a Swiss Mountain Dog and all. As a matter of fact he is on the deck melting right now.

Hope Dad gives you a big piece of steak for your BD!

Happy birfday, Shadow, you handsome boy!!!!!! Aspen says he'll share his birthday with you but will NOT share his steak. ~L~ His was on the 24th. He's 8.
