    Lillie.... ***** KISSES FROM BAILEY**********

Okay I am speaking sloooowly because you ahve been traumatized and are in one of the early stages of shock right now..

Are you or any member of your family dealing drugs,  cooking meth, producing child porn , sacrificing small animals or burning American flags to roast marshmallows????

Are you or any member of your family in Witness protection?

If the answer is NO then why would you second guess your right to see and be a witness to an event of violence at your home???

This was not a dog belonging to the Mafia or even worse a Fortune 20 family???     So again, YOU ...a person who holds down a life, cares for a family and pays her bills SAW an attack by loose dogs that YOU know live in a specific household.... What was the question...?? Something about you were the only one to WITNESS the incident...???

I am sorry if you approach this as if your word and report are valueless they are.    If on the other hand you as an honest citizen who will not be taking Crap from an irresponsible owner of DA dogs makes a report and demands follow up.... WHO THE HECK is anyone to ignore YOU???? A tax paying , law abiding citizen YOU HAVE RIGHTS... You have the right to live unmolested in your home , It does not matter if you live in a shanty or a 3000 sq foot master piece of design.    Years ago , the rich owned the world because they could spin any and everything...  YOU OWN the INTERNET...... You can appeal to the masses, you can bring attention that the little township you live in...... THEY  have never considered the possibility of Outsiders knowing they do not take care of their business...!!!

Should you get  a tiny amount of flack you let the list know and make sure you have the email addies for the local paper , radio station, and news station.... If you have the addies and phone numbers for the town council , chamber of commerce and police department.

Years ago you had to deal with the Good Old Boy system all by yourself.  IT took cajones the size of cantalopes to deal with all of this pressure that could be levered against you...... thoes days are GONE.. sadly the ARs and their ilk figured that first..... it is our turn now. You may have been the only one to witness the act, that does not mean you are alone.

I agree with Bonita.  You witnessed...that's enough!

    Bonita,

That made me laugh in a nice way, and your right she should stand up for herself and her rights. But I also think she is smart to be cautious. She is a mom home alone with a child. To me that changes how you go about things.

Now I would have no problem going over there and dealing out some rough justice, but im a tall woman and I do not scare easily. So my advice.........

Fight dirty. Do every sneaky, underhanded, down right rotten, just above the law thing you can. And do it with flair.

As for recovery....it sounds like you have a stable healthy pack so hopefully they'll adjust after sometime.

My dogs were attacked in their fenced yard in April by a coyote and are now back to themselves. I think its easier since they have safety in numbers, work as a team with pack mentality.

Primo used to charge out of the back door with vigor and spray the perimiter like a maniac while Rory nosed all holes and potential hiding places. I stopped Primo from charging out of the back door because he seemed to on guard and territorial so I leashed him for a week or so to get him to relax. Thankfully thier behavior towards other dogs in public hasnt changed but I was sure to keep a keen eye out for potential issues....especially dogs that resembled coyotes.

Whoa somehow I missed this fact. Gosh this has to be tough but I cant assume the owners are upstanding citizens and I would not feel safe with these dogs in my neighborhood. Its a tough situation but you've gotta be tougher for the sake of your child. I'm glad your not scared to use your BB gun but in the meantime you shoo those dogs away from your property when they get close. If teh owners wont listen while you perpare your legal case you can assert your dominance over these dogs. Its not unheard of for them to know better then to stay away from your property.

How to prove?  Paint ball gun in the future.  Hit them each time they are on your property.

I just saw this and I am SO sorry! I hope she gets better soon! As for reporting, I would report it in a heartbeat. I don't know where you live but they can't be friends with ALL the cops! Go down to the station and stand there and complain until you get a decent response. I've done it before and it works. You may have to go all the way to the Chief, but you'll still get farther than a beat cop.

Any chance you could put up a fence?

    • Gold Top Dog

ok i'm speaking slowly because i dont know how many of you have experienced "Good Ole Boy Syndrome"

a LOT of times people get ignored BECAUSE the perp has a friend on the force, or as an ACO. i dont doubt her for a second on that.

which is why i say practice the 3 S's. she can PM me if she wants to know what those are.

    • Gold Top Dog

I want to know what they are?!

I just saw this, I'm so sorry Lillie got attacked. I'm glad you were there to scare them off, poor girl. I hope physically and mentally she recovers soon. And hopefully you can get this sorted out so you don't have to worry about those dogs anymore.

    I'm betting on pomeranians....LOL

Really I'm sure we all have a pretty good idea what top 3 breeds it could be.

Further I'd bet they are unaltered males who have little to no training or obediance. Aside from the attack they have bad manners but few dogs could resist a kitten. Poor sweet Lillie got in the middle and paid the price.

Now its time for the owners to pay the price and for the dogs to be evaluated to figure wether they are suitable pets.

    • Gold Top Dog

I am another one who wants to know the 3 Ss!

If you are taking them to court, make sure to emphasize how much monetary loss is involved since your show dog is so afraid of other dogs that she won't be a finished champion and we all KNOW that puppies from an AKC champ are sooooooooo much more valuable than one bought from a BYB!.  Hey, what they don't know won't hurt them, right? ROFLLL

IMHO, a bullet is the quickest way to take care of this.  I am serious--you should NOT have to deal with this and these low lifes.
