I wish that mine would go out when it rains!  Instead, I get the "mom, are you too dumb to realize that it's raining" looks.Confused

Jamison too !!  He won't even go out on grass after it rains -- the grass has to be completely dry before he walks on it.

LOL - what is strange is he is terrified of sprinklers - I learned of his love of rain when he was about 7-8 mos old we had a tropical storm that dumped 8 inches of rain in something like 6 hours and I needed to go to an appointment in the midst of it.  He slipped out the door when I opened it (thinking only a fool would go out in this) and he was zooming around the yard, splashing in the puddles, laying in the grass refusing to come in - I wanted to strangle him at the same time I was laughing hysterically.  I am very glad for his very short coat it would be a nightmare if he was long coated and did these things!

I was a bit concerned though as this storm was close and very electric.  I mean I'm glad he doesn't react to thunder & lightning as we get so much but I could do without him enjoying it so much!

Jayde is doing great. I havent seen her in a month since I have no car. But her breeder said her leg has healed up fine and she has to pry her away from the baby goats. She seems to have forgotten she is a herding dog and not a LGD. Her breeder said that Jayde is more of a man's dog than women. She really loves her husband and will go out of the way to please him. So maybe that was my problem? She preferred men over women?

I kinda figured the car might have been an issue for you to get to see her.  I'm happy you and the breeder keep in contact.  And she sounds like she is doing sooo good!  That's awesome :o)  I think you should tell her that you need pics of her and the baby goats...and then we (or atleast *I*) need pics of her and the baby goats :o)

We had an interesting walk.  Max has this weird habit of changing legs when he pees.  Whichever leg he lifts to start, he often switches to the other one mid-pee.  Not that I care what leg he lifts, but that goofy habit resulted in him peeing all over my ankle and foot. Sad

Do you really have no Smarties in the States?  As you can tell, this is really bothering me...my friend Shantacy told me there were none, but I thought she was just trying to freak me out!

Oh MAX! Surprise  I can't believe you peed on your mama.

Rupert does the leg switch thing too. And sometimes, if there's something interesting to sniff nearby, he'll squat-walk and pee. Confused

Trust your friend as she is telling you the truth, unfortunately.

    OK All!  I need help...

I have to take a week off in July and I found out last night that DH is working hard (ie away) at least 3 days every week.  What should I do?  Last time I took a week off by myself I wanted to pull out my hair by Thursday!  I'm really looking for some ideas, the less expensive the better.

These?  We have these.  Now if you're talking about something else, well.....I dunno.

    Hmm....those kinda look like Sprees...

Canadian/UK Smarties are milk chocolate covered with a candy shell.  Very yummy!  Not at all like Sprees...

Oh yeah!  Turtles too...  "Turtles, turtles ha ha ha, mmmmmm...I love turtles"

    Ahh....ok

Nice to learn these different things.  It is interesting that in that pic I posted of the (what I call) Smarties that it said made in Canada, but they're called something different there.

When you eat your Smarties do you eat the red ones last?  Do you suck them very slowly?  Or crunch them very fast?

I guess, in a nutshell, they are kind of like M&M's , but there really is a huge difference...jeez, I grew up on Smarties...when my Grandma went away on a trip, she always brought me back a box of Smarties...odd, cause I could get them at any corner store, but it was exciting at the time.

I'm curious now though.  If the chocolate down there is so much different, and you can't get everything we can up here, then there must be some worth mentioning that we can't get up here but is available to you....No?

Life Lesson #85 - don't decide to make your boyfriend a homemade apple pie (crust and all!) after you sweep and mop your kitchen floor. Resulting floor will get very dirty and you will be sad.

I didn't know making pie crust was so messy! My apples are marinading, my dough is chilling, my oven is preheated...I feel like Martha.

Why couldn't he just want cake for his birthday?!
