When talking to his breeder..she said Charisma his mom did the same thing and it was hard because she was in a two bedroom apartment with no where to go to get some sleep...she said if your smart...you'll put the crate in the basement where you can't hear it as well.

My friends and I were talking about it last night at dinner..its as though now its a really bad habit...he goes in his crate and just barks and cries..I feel if we could just get him a few nights to just sleep in his crate...that he would see he sleeps there and gets up in the morning and lives his life.... but now its just "okay, now it time to bark and cry!"  I pulled out my box of Benadryl last night....was considering giving him one to see if that would get him sleepy longer...and if it worked and we did it a few nights that it would get him into the habit of sleeping in his crate. But I was a little afraid to do it since I would also be in bed and not be able to see if there was a problem with him and Benadryl.

Last night he went past the 3AM time and we didn't hear anything from him until closer to 5,,which is the time he gets up and wants to eat.  Its still early now and DH is still in bed so I'm not sure what time he put him in the crate. But either way,, I believe its the first time he went past 3 before he started barking and crying.  Maybe its a start of a different trend....but then maybe its a fluke!  Confused
