He babies her like mad, but he believes that when you add another dog into the picture, the dynamics change COMPLETELY and he thinks Ella is SUCH a GREAT dog, but he fears having another dog here might bring out...some bad behaviors. But then I just tell him, "hey, if you were the proper pack leader..." ha! For one thing, I HIGHLY doubt Ella is going to...be a good girl and get along. But we'll see! • Anonymous Posted : 5/10/2007 1:43:31 PM Rosco had some DA issues in the past and still can when the mood is right, but having other dogs in our house actually makes him less DA. When we took him to meet potential siblings he let us know who he liked and who he didn't. He saw Lexi, gave her a HUGE play bow, she bowed back and they have been playing every since. We've had Lexi for almost three years, and they have never had a fight (knocking on wood.) As an aside: DH and I were hoping for something small and about a year-old. Rosco picked the crack-head GSP mix who was 4 months-old with less than zero socialization, and now is 50 lbs. So sometimes the right dog for your pack is the one you least expect!
