What are you feeding him as of right now?

ETA: Ella weighs 60 lbs. Well, between 58 and 60.

All of my dogs are fed Natural Balance Ultra Premium right now. I'm researching a raw diet and hope to be making the switch by the end of summer.

I fed raw for a while, but Ella's hair started thinning and I was almost up to 3 lbs. of meat a day with her just to keep weight on her. I still feed her a raw meal occasionally, but for now I have her on Timberwolf Organics Ocean Blue.
I was just wondering in case God decides to love me on Saturday and for some reason we were to actually be able to apply to adopt Tyson. I'd like to be able to gradually switch him over.

I mean, this is all IF God decides that he loves me on Saturday...

I used to have my dogs on Timberwolf, but it got too expensive. I feed my fosters the same thing as I feed my own dogs (I'm a pretty simple girl), so keeping 3 dogs on Timberwolf drained the bank account...haha. The rescue group will pay for a less expensive food, but I'd rather feed my fosters a high quality food than get crappy food for free, ya know?

I can't wait for you to meet Tyson on Saturday! I'm going to give him a bath on Friday so he's nice and gorgeous for you. ;)

Aw, man! I just know I'll want to take him home. And I know either Ella or Ben won't let me. [:(]

Oh gosh what a cutie pie I just love Tyson he is gorgeous. Fingers will be crossed that Ella and Ben fall in love with him if not then they are just crazy to not love that cutie. [sm=crossfingers.gif]

I've already been informed by the boyfriend that even though he is like, one of the cutest dogs EVER on the ENTIRE planet, we are NOT going to be adopting another dog even if he and Ella become inseparable upon first meeting

Famous last words. Anyway, don't rub it in too much when you bring home the new sweetheart.

I know, I keep hoping that IF Ella gets along with Tyson that Ben will be SOOOO happy that Ella even gets along with another dog, that'll that will somehow make it so he allows me to adopt him. Or at least apply.

He's very handsome! By the looks of his skin in a few places, it seems like he has allergies. Of course I don't think that's too uncommon for Bully breeds- especially ones with white coloring. Rebecca I'll be thinking of you and hoping that he gets along with Ella and that your boyfriend will change his mind... [:)]

    Aw! Thank you!
IF we were able to adopt him, and if he does have skin allergies, that's a walk in the park for me since I've already had to take Ella to the vet 5-6 times for her skin![:D]
I have allergy shampoo here already (we usually keep well stocked on the shampoo because Ella gets bathed weekly) so that wouldn't be much of an issue.

    Gah! Wish me luck!
I don't know that all the begging in the world will work!

That's what I was thinking- that you would know just what to do because of all that you've gone through with Ella. As far as the boyfriend, sometimes when negotiating you have to pull out ALL the stops if you know what I mean. lol [;)]

hahahaha! I do know what you mean! It's funny because I was trying last night and I kept telling him, "you know...as soon as Tyson flashes that bully smile at you, you're going to melt. As soon as he licks your face and is like, 'Will you be my new daddy because I don't have a daddy and I'm cute and I give kisses and bully smiles?!' "
He just looked at me and said, "Oh, I'm sure I'm going to. I'm sure he's going to be adorable. But, stop it. What would you do with two dogs? This house would be crazy!"

I don't know. I'm hoping for a "yes" but I am prepared for a "no".
