Have you called the place you got him from and TOLD them? That means they have a parvo outbreak on their hands.
They may not have known if he was turned around and placed within the 7-9 day incubation period. And vaccines don't take effect for THREE WEEKS. Giving a vax to a dog already exposed to parvo can surely bring it out.
Also -- your yard has now been 'exposed' to parvo. That means you can't bring another PUPPY (a dog that hasn't been adequately and FULLY vaccinated) into that same yard for at least two years.
That can be a big huge deal -- and honestly you should let your neighbors know this dog had parvo. It is so incredibly, horribly contagious it's very difficult.
Make sure your home is bleached all over -- if this pup does make it it will have developed some immunity, but if this pup doesn't make it you don't want another pup infected. Does that make sense?
And yes, surely I will keep you and this pup in my prayers and good thots -- please please update us??
