The vet lost Ginger. (Update.. Bad news though)

     Just checking in again.

Callie, I really need to get me some stickies.  Maybe I'll light a candle.

I'm so sorry. I haven't read the whole thread; has anyone suggested putting an ad in the paper and leaving fliers in the neighbor's doors? I'll pray and light a candle tonight; {{{{hugs}}}}.

Take your two year old with you and go look for your dog - it's a good lesson for her in NOT giving up and being compassionate.  And, if you ever do get her back, have her new vet (I would never set foot in that place again, except to bill them for my gas to go around looking for my dog) insert a microchip so that she can be scanned and returned home.

This made me think. lots of kids have very strong instincts. Maybe if you take your 2 yr old with you he/she might have some ideas on where to look. like, "go that way mommy" or "I think shes over there" You would be surprised what kinds of feeling these kids are getting nowadays.

And don't forget petstores! They always have foot traffic from all over. Post flyers at every register, and outside the store! I also tell people to check local dog parks and post flyuers there too! I sure hope you find her!

Sending good vibes and prayers your way; Jessie, Max, Sugar and Spice

I keep checking back for news...nothing yet?

    • Gold Top Dog

Oh I was hoping there would be good news by now.  GO HOME GINGER! Or atleast go where you can be found!!!

    • Gold Top Dog

This is one of the most horrible things I've read in a long time.  Have you talked to the vet/owner?  Seems like they would do everything to ensure the safe return of your dog.  It also sounds like a good story for the tv news.

I think a candle vigil tonight isn't a bad idea.  Will light my idog candle.... GINGER - get home safely!

I'm in!  Lighting a GINGER GO HOME candle!  Crying

My candle is lit also....come home Ginger!

It's 9 pm here. I have no news at all. I put her in the paper and checked both pounds here. I put up flyers in every store that let me. Since we have a walmart I'm hoping someone shopping there sees the flyers and knows something about her.

Thanks guys for all the support.

Oh gee....I was sure hoping for better news.  I am joining in on the candle....and will light one now.

I am just furious at this....just plain furious!   This was just the most irresponsible thing that the vet clinic could have done......accidents do happen,,,but this was just total and utter irresponsibility!  The girls that let this happen were bad enough...the vet who runs this clinic should have had them and everyone else, on this until Ginger was found.   They should be putting flyers in stores..contacting police... doing what ever they could to find Ginger. I really am appalled.

Has the vets office been in touch with you today about this?  Someone finds a cute puppy and if they are decent they contact the police and animal control to report this.  But we know that not all are decent.  Here is hoping that they do the right thing and report that they found the dog.  And quickly.

Geez, I'm so sorry. I was really praying for good news.

I know that if this were me, I'd be raising he!! at the vets office by now. I'm sorry you are going through this, this is just awful.

Oh this is so heartbreaking, thinking of poor Ginger and that other little stray puppy. We'll keep praying and keeping our paws crossed.

I am so very sorry. I just noticed this thread today and eagerly went through each page hoping that at the end I would see good news, my heart breaks for you and for your dog. I pray that you find her.
