Take your two year old with you and go look for your dog - it's a good lesson for her in NOT giving up and being compassionate. And, if you ever do get her back, have her new vet (I would never set foot in that place again, except to bill them for my gas to go around looking for my dog) insert a microchip so that she can be scanned and returned home.
This made me think. lots of kids have
very strong instincts. Maybe if you take your 2 yr old with you he/she might have some ideas on where to look. like, "go that way mommy" or "I think shes over there" You would be surprised what kinds of feeling these kids are getting nowadays.
And don't forget petstores! They always have foot traffic from all over. Post flyers at every register, and outside the store! I also tell people to check local dog parks and post flyuers there too! I sure hope you find her!
