Please pray for my baby!

 Oh poor baby!  Keep on fighting babe, you've got all of us pulling right along w/ you!

I am glad to hear things are getting better.  That picture just brought tears to my eyes.  Keep fighting little one.  There's a whole lot of us cheering you on!  Prayers and good wishes still coming your way!

Even with the tubes, it's easy to see how gorgeous she is.  She looks like a real fighter.  Good thoughts still coming your way from us.

 Oh she is beautiful  and it is so difficult to see her like that - I am very very glad that she is doing better and our continued prayers and thoughts for her increasing strength and stability.  She is definitely a fighter and that is a great trait to have.

It's important that you & DH take care of yourselves too as she will need you strong when she goes home.

Bless her, she is so strong and brave!  This must be so hard for you, but you must be so proud of her as well.  What a tough cookie.  I'm still thinking of her and rooting for her.  Take care of yourself. 

Oh, that photo just breaks my heart.  I can't imagine how hard it is to see her like that and not be able to explain to her what's happening.  But she's adorable and looks strong and alert . . . .  and she clearly has the fighting spirit.  Continued best wishes to all of you during this trying time.

Breana is still making baby steps forward. They don't know why her blood pressure is elevated, her kidneys seem to be starting to work. But, her white blood cell count is up now, and her belly is all puffy. They are still doing a ton of tests on her trying to figure out what is going on. I went home and was able to see Athena for the first time in 3 weeks. She has been in a kennel and we have been living in the ronald mcdonald house. When we showed up she had a big abcess on her left front leg so, we had to rush her to the vet. They put her on anti--biotics, said it was just a cut. She also lost a-lot of weight. She is sooo skinny but, they say she is eating so they feel it's just stress. I still don't think I can take anymore! I balled when I left her. I miss my dog and my house soooo much, and it's nowhere in sight at the moment.  Here is a pic from when Breana was home :)  it's her newborn pic. Athena loved her! Actually hours before Breana crashed Athena was staring into her bassinet and looking at me, then back at her... she just stared at her and let out this really really low bark, once. Then she looked up at me, it was really weird.... Breana crashed hours later. I talked to the vet and she thinks that Athena knew something was wrong with the baby and was trying to tell me. I wish I could have spoke doggy!

Athena is probably stressed and might need more food in that environment.  I'm sure that she misses you too but Breana is the priority

When Breana comes home Athena is going to be an awesome "bis sis".

You have all been in my prayers every day.  I know the stress is getting to you too.  You must keep yourself healthy,  the Doctors and Nurses are taking care of Breanna now, she will need a strong healthy mommy when she is ready to come home.

Yeah, that's what the vet said too... we upped her food intake, they said since she is eating and seems hungry they think her stress level is just burning more calories.  :)  Guess the whole family is stressed lol  Thank you soo much for your prayers !

 Hugs to you all!  Yeah, I firmly believe that dog do sense when something is wrong...I've seen it.  And I bless them for it. 

 Sending you strong family members all under one roof prayers!!!  Your story about Athena reminded me of when my son was born.  We had 2 mix breed sisters and one of them appointed herself guardian and 2nd mom.  She'd sit next to his crib or carrier or bassinette and the minute he'd make a squeak she'd come pestering me to take care of him THAT INSTANT!  :)  I know Athena is going to make a fantastic 2nd mom when your precious girl gets home!  Hang in there and try to get rest!
