Breana is doing good. They are still trying to find her right "cocktail" of drugs to keep all her rates where they want them. They seem to be pretty close. Her heart rate is a bit high but, they are not to worried about it. We are still watching her blood pressure, high blood pressure could put excess stress on the incision or cause a stroke so we are really keeping an eye on that. They are doing a very very good job. She opened her eyes this morning, she is still pretty sedated but, it was definaately nice to see. They just came back and did the echo on her heart, they said everything looked good, right where they expect it to be after surgery. Last night she gave us a little scare, while they were suctioning her tube her oxygen levels dropped, and her blood pressure shot up. They put her on her back again and things leveled out. It appears the upper lobe of her left lung has collapsed or stuck together a little. For right now her oxygen levels are good, she is getting good saturation they are starting treatments to try and re-inflate that part of her lung. They say this is pretty normal after surgery but, it still scared the heck out of me! She is producing a small amount of urine... they would like more but, they are very happy that she is giving them some.
So, 24 hours is up.... 24 more to go untill we pass the stressful 48 hour mark!
Thanks for everything guys!
