    OCCUPATION(S):

    • Human Resource Administrator for an IT consultancy (full-time) Mon - Fri
    • PETCO Sales Associate (part-time) Sat - Sun

    ANIMAL TIME:

    • Kayla (Pomeranian) is my partner in crime and goes everywhere with me when I'm not working
    • I visit her daily on my lunch break
    • She sleeps/cuddles right next to me at night
    • I really do wish I could spend more time with her or take her to work. Once I get some major bills out of the way I'm going to look into doggie day care twice a week just so she can have some fun time.
    • I think with my lifestyle owning more than one dog would simply be selfish & not fair.

I work for a major arts and crafts retailer in their corporate office.  Because I don't live very close, I'm gone from the apartment Joey and I share for longer than I would like.  Hence the reason I got him a daily dog walker.  He loves Jackie and Jackie loves him and I don't know how I ever left him there for long work hours before!!  I still come home and take him for a walk in the evening - I need it as much as he does.  And I rarely go out at night during the week.  When the weekend rolls around we visit the dog park and sometimes during the week we visit a friend who has dogs he can play with.  It's not a perfect situation but it's working for now.  As soon as my lease is up, I'm moving closer which would shave off at least two hours from my commute and therefore a few more hours where Joey's not alone.

I work part time for an elmentary school, which leaves me plenty of critter time.

I am an HCS Case Manager.... basically like a social worker (no degree). I work with adults with developmental disabilties.

I work about 2 seconds from my apartment. I leave my house at like 8 or 8:30 (it seems to get later and later as I get pregnant-er)... I usually come by for lunch time at like 11 or 12 and then my BF gets home at 2:30 or 3:30 and I get home at 5.... after 5 its all play time :)

I work as a vet tech for the local Humane Society. It's fairly close to my home so I come home on my lunch breaks to take Casey out and play with him. I can also bring him to work wih me, if I need to (working extra long, or something).

I would like to get him in doggy day care - but we have a bit more socialization to do first =]

I'm a stay at home mom so I have a good amount of time for my dogs.  I don't get to do the things I want to with them right now as I'm pregnant and what I want to do includes a huge possibility of major wipeouts, but we are pretty content with walks and a bit of off leash time.

I work out of my house and DH's office is three miles away. The dogs are with us all day, so we have lots of critter time. During the 9-5 their day is probably the same as anyone who is at an office and has a dog at home. They get potty breaks, a mid-day romp and a short training session or two, but other than that they are sleeping!

I'm a legal assistant and work about 30 minutes from home (depending on the day/traffic).  When I'm out of work they're with me pretty much.  Now I don't watch TV - -- so maybe that helps but it's our choice.  Husband gets up with them early, I'm up with them late.  You have the time with them that you MAKE for them.

I also never take on young pups -- my dogs are mature and more settled and that's by our choice because I feel it would be unfair for a younger dog to have less activity and I'm somewhat handicapped by rheumatoid arthritis.  Long walks just don't happen with me.

Currently I run my own life and performance coaching business and do that plus training and speaking.  So its home based, I do have some days when doggie time is less than I like but mostly I have plenty of time.  I do find it really difficult to set aside time for formal training because I'm small enough that I need to be extremely flexible.

I'm a teacher, so I'm out of school by 2:15 and home by 3:00 on most days. And with Brett's rotating schedule, someone is home nearly all the time.

I am an OR nurse.  I have been fortunate to work part-time (3days/wk).  Those three days my dogs are home alone.  My son-in-law does come home and lets them out about 1:30 and I do the same for them on the days I am home. I usually get home about 4:00 to 4:30, unless it is my day to work over.  My dogs pretty much gets a lot of my time as I stay home in the evenings and weekends alot.  If I go out, it is for short periods of time.

I am an Operations Manager and work about 10 minutes from my home. I am able to work from home once or twice a month (I try not to abuse this) and go home most days for lunch.

My husband works nights Sun,Mon,Tues and is home during the day, my son is home by 3pm so the dogs are rarely if ever totally alone.

I work in a boarding kennel - cleaning kennels and caring for the boarded animals (feeding, playtimes, etc.), bathing, sometimes helping with customer service. I also do dog training part time. I can bring my dogs to work any time, and I have a lot of seasonal time off. When I get a puppy, I try to do it during the off-season, so that I have more time for them and also so I can bring them to work when it's quiet and not as overwhelming. Then by the time it gets busy at the kennel, they're comfortable there and they're not bothered by it.

I work at a doggie daycare/boarding facility in Orlando, and I'm a full-time college student. Before I got my job I didn't want to have a dog, since I didn't think it was the right thing to do if I had a job where I had to be gone the times I'm not in class. But when I got my job, I decided it would be fair since he could come!

Pirate comes on Tuesdays/Thursdays if I'm working those days, since I have class alllll afternoon those days. But on Monday/Wednesday/Friday I only have one class so I'll usually leave him home.
