Are those Pedigree commercials killing anyone else?

YES!  I'm not an emotional person and rarely choke up....but the one where they said the family moved to a new apartment and couldn't keep the dog...:(  The other one that gets me is when the people walk by and the little dog gets up and wags his tail, watches them pass his kennel.... 

They get me, every time. So, then, I go buy a bunch of cans of Pedigree puppy.

And donate them to the shelter.

You reminded me, I need to go shopping for the shelter. I haven't done it since the last time Teenie helped Shopping for "puppies that don't have a Mom to love them" was one of her favorite things.

Nope, they didn't do the sporting either.

 I was going to post about those commercials the other day actually! DH gives me this weird look everytime because I seriously tear up everytime the commercial comes on! ugh!

We went to the humane society the other day to look at rabbits. I want to adopt one and DH thought it'd be a good idea to go look at the doggies. Bad bad bad idea! It looked like they raided a house, because there were all these pitbulls/pit mixes in there, and they were tiny. I mean none of them were bigger than 35 lbs full grown, so cute and scared and I wanted to adopt them all!! That reminds me, I am going to go buy blankets for each dog at the shelter this week...

LOL, my fiancee is as bad as me....He's a real fishing/hunting/sport-obsessed/can-fix-anything-with-a-motor guy, but when it comes to our dog- lol- he's the biggest BABY!

 It's rare that a commercial like the Pedigree ones can be pulled off without dissing shelters or otherwise ending up leaving me with a negative feeling, but this series seems to be pretty spot on.  I see those "take me home" looks every day at work.
