And all breeders make $$$$$ thats why they are breeders.

That isn't a true statement.  There are many people who breed who do not do it for money.

Yes so far everything has gone great with our puppy and I hope it does stay that way.

All breeders do NOT make money. Only BAD breeders make profits.

A REPUTABLE breeder puts more money INTO the breeding of their dogs and the puppies born than they get back from it. They have all health/genetic tests done, they TITLE their dogs in the ring or in the field. They put out $$$$$ in entry and travel fees They breed for the LOVE of their breed, not for the money.

Well see that is where you are wrong, the dogs I am looking t, yes online, are all guarenteed, for several years.

What? I don't understand what you are saying. Most online "breeders" don't give more than a one year guarantee, if any at all. Sometimes only three days, sometimes even only 24 hrs! Lots, none at all.

Robin, I love living in Alaska.

Ok well I should clarify, I am looking at them online, but they are real breeders, some do have websites, so I am looking at the online, do any of them accept credit cards or have shopping carts no most definatly not.

Well that maybe true but we took the chance and it turned out good for us.And all breeders make $$$$$ thats why they are breeders. We can say that about anyone that makes a buck. But we are happy if I get a chance and your e-mail if you want I will send you picture of my pup.

All breeders do not make money on their litters.  Good breeders rarely make a profit.  They have to much money invested in necessities. ie health testing, genetic testing.  Most quality breeders breed for the betterment of the breed that they love so dearly.

Well I researched this breeder and he lives on alot of property with horses his wife raises rare golden retrivers and yes he does most likely make some $$ but he still puts love into his pups mine was potty trained almost when I got her well behaved we had him call her by the name we were going to call her so she knew her name when she got here. Yes people can make up phony websites but thank god this breeder didnt.

    ... Rare.... Golden Retrievers?
    • Gold Top Dog
What makes for a "rare golden retriever"?  Just wondering.
    • Gold Top Dog
    Aye aye aye.
    • Gold Top Dog
This is so not true. Good breeders show/trial their dogs, select only the best representation of their breed, health test for genetic predispositions and then breed maybe. They usually have a waiting list because they don't breed often and they often don't make money doing it.

So your premise is quite mistaken.

You know, this reminds me of a recent conversation I had that went along a similar vein. A friend's sister recently bought one of those munchkin cats online and had it shipped to her. She feels she's carried out some kind of coup because it was only $500.00 as opposed to the typical $1000.00!  So I said to my friend, "that sounds awesome. I mean it's not like the HSUS estimates we kill 4 million dogs and cats in shelters every year or anything."

Sigh. I swear people would buy navel lint if they thought they could get it at a discount! But basically it comes down to what it always comes down to; people want what they want when they want it. BYB, mill aside.
