I bought a cocokapoo on line and we love her

We bought a cocokapoo from Mike Baur in Wis that most of you have been bad mouthing hes a great guy and breeder. If you look at his web site you would see this. Our puppy is so pretty and smart. And we are so pleased.Just want people to know that buying on line was not a problem for us. I spoke to the breeder everyday before she came to us and still talk with him.

Only time will tell. Good luck and I hope your dog remains healthy.

Well nothing is a guarantee specially on an animal. But thanks I hope she stays healthy to. I know when I took her to my vet here in california she looked at the records the breeder gave me and said he gave her a really good shots especially the parvo one she said sheida should never get parvo so lets hope thats true. You take your chance with anything you buy. You could go and see the parents and where they live and people can hide alot of things still. There are phony people out there even if you see where they live. But anyways we love our cockapoo and considering buying another one from Mike. Thanks for writting. How do you like living in alaska. Did you grow up there. Robin

Well see that is where you are wrong, the dogs I am looking t, yes online, are all guarenteed, for several years.

What? I don't understand what you are saying. Most online "breeders" don't give more than a one year guarantee, if any at all. Sometimes only three days, sometimes even only 24 hrs! Lots, none at all.

Robin, I love living in Alaska.

I wasnt saying you had to be impressed but a person earlier had said the breeder I went through doesnt give his name or # and that is not true. Also if your a dog lover youd be impressed with any puppys you see. Is that your dog thats going to have puppys if so why should people be impressed with your litter. People should just really do what they want and what their hearts tell them to do.

I really don't think it's fair to say that if someone is a dog lover, they'll be impressed with all puppies. It just isn't true. You can love dogs and be thoroughly unimpressed with a litter, or a dog, or a puppy. It happens.
    • Gold Top Dog
Well that is true some are not impressive. But I was trying to make a point that my breeder has a normal web site maybe doesnt have all the fancy things that others have but he is a good guy. Well I guess to this is my opinion because I had no problems with him.

Impressed...strong word. The Taj Mahal impresses me...the Pyramids of Egypt...etc
Impressed by any puppies  I see?LOL...

"Aww....cute"....that doesn't equate with impressed...sorry. Loving a dog or thinking a dog is cute is not the same as being impressed with it or more importantly the person "behind" the dog and the breeding programme, ethics , and genetics, behind the dog.

I don't try to impress people with my dogs. My dogs are not extenstions of my ego....and more importantly....they are not a living, I do not live on the wombs and testicles of my dogs.

People doing what they want is why dogs die in shelters daily. That's a great attitude to have.

I dont understand you I said people should do what their hearts tell them to do .Were do you get thats a bad attitude I have. And about the shelters. Yes I do love my puppy and I love my 4 house cats but they do not run my life. They are big part of my life and people should not get animals if their not going to love and take care of them. No i dont just throw my pup in the backyard. I dont get you all I did was come on here to say my breeder I dealt with on line was great and others shouldnt talk about breeders if they dont know truth.
    • Gold Top Dog
Call me an onld cynic, but I would never buy a dog on line from a breeder sight unseen. As far as I'm concerned anybody can put up a shiny website with pretty pictures -even the worst puppy mills have access to this technology. I would have to see the breeder and his facilities. And that isn't even mentioning me ever buying a dog from someone who churns them out for cash.

    JMO YMMV

BECAUSE I am an animal lover, I'm unimpressed with BYBs... just taking more homes from shelter dogs (who are mostly from BYBs themselves, it's a nasty cycle).

I'm glad you had a good experience so far.
    • Gold Top Dog
Well that maybe true but we took the chance and it turned out good for us.And all breeders make $$$$$ thats why they are breeders. We can say that about anyone that makes a buck. But we are happy if I get a chance and your e-mail if you want I will send you picture of my pup.
