Gracie is a lucky pup to have found you, your BF and Tyson. You all are making a wonderful family together. She is very pretty and the polka dot on her nose just begs for kisses.

Oh, Alison, she is heart-stoppingly gorgeous.  I just sat there and stared at her.... she's beautiful!!  What a pair those two will be, walking down the street.  GOOD BOY Tyson- you were such a good representative for your breed that you saved another!  Congratulations to you all.  She's a  very lucky girl to be in your family.

Oh, oh, TWO  very cute Cowie dogs in one family! She's just perfect! She really does look like she's a puppy herself. I bet she's not even a year old yet. Congratulations! She's got tons of character. :D

I can see why your BF fell for her.  She is just sooo gorgeous! Congrats!!

    • Gold Top Dog

She's lovely and congrats on the new addition!

    • Gold Top Dog

I am so glad to hear that you decided to keep her. What a lucky girl she is!!

She is absolutely stunning. I just love the expression on her pretty little face!!

More pictures are a definite must!!

    Thanks guys!

We are very happy to have her, but its going to be quite the adjustment.

Housebreaking... Crate Training... Following rules... These are all things we need to work on, but she seems to have potential!... Also, adjusting to a two dog household is going to be something to get used to, as Tyson was really the center of our attention before, and spoiled, to say the least! But, Im sure in time it will all come together... it has already started to!

Keep your eye on the photos for sharing board, as there are sure to be more pictures to come!

Alison, all I can say is patience & consistency but you already know that.  You have a great foundation with Tyson.  He can help you teach her.  I will guarantee that, say, in 2 months or so you will look back & say, WOW, we've come a long way in such a short time.

    • Gold Top Dog

I hope that in two months we will look back and say that!

Right now its a little frustrating, but we are staying patient.  We understand that everything is new to her, and that shes not lived this way before.... Shes just so darn cute that its hard to stay mad!

Alright, I can't GUARANTEE anything but I'd be willing to put money on it.  A small example, literally (since I'm talking about Papillons Big Smile).  My newest foster came to me about 2 + months ago.  When he first came, he didn't know the rules of the house...both human & canine.  He now knows not to get to big with Grady & is actually soliciting play with Aspen.  He knows how to get along with other dogs.  When he first came we had a marking fest here.  That has slowed down to almost non-existent.  Patience.  You can get through this.  Just remember where she came from & doesn't know the rules yet.  She'll learn.

You did everything right to bring that sweet-faced girl into your home.  Congrats on a job well done and here's to many days of happy dogs!  She's totally precious and Tyson looks quite pleased with his new girl.

well, I'm a bit late on this, but WELCOME GRACIE!!!!!  have lots of fun with your silly brother!!
