How much did you pay for your dog?

For Thor(avatar) we paid $250. He is an APBT(male) with a blue/brindle coat. I believe we got him at 8 or 9 weeks? He was the runt of the litter and the next to last to go. I think they just wanted the last two pups gone, the rest sold for $500.
 
For Plato, my dachshund/yorkie mix, we got him for free.It was an accidental breeding, and we had just lost our previous dog. A friend called us and asked if we were interested. We got him way too young. We were told me was two months old but I suspect he was much younger than that.(which means my ticker might be inaccurate).

We got Sam for 80 bucks maybe.  We adopted him from the local shelter. He was about 10weeks old.
Suppose to be Lax/Pyrenees mix....not so sure about pyr as he's a whopping 57lbs.

My dog is a purebred Canadian Mutt (female) [] . I got her for free at 5 weeks from the street []

My sister bought Jayda from a pet store labelled as 'pom type' 1600.

I adopted Max for $250 from a Golden rescue. He was stated as 5 years old. He is actually closer to 2 or 3.

I paid $90 for Emma, spayed and first vaccines done. She was nine weeks old, and is a Jack Russell Terrier.

I got Teenie with a pack of lies, for free.  She's a large mini Dachshund (she's actually a "tweenie") and was around 9 years old.

I do have other breeds but these are the ones whose price have just come to me...could be that I have chosen to best forget what the others cost me[]
 
I have a couple of rescues as well, a boxer that I wouldn't trade for a million bucks and a blue-eyed border collie that is just as big a smooch as my boxer. 
 

I got my 18 mo old, spayed, female Catahoula Leopard Mutt from a local shelter. She was quite a bargain at $77! [] 
 
Undersocialised and insecure when I got her, she's done very well. Super-smart-mind-reader, this one.
 
Finding her was like finding a treasure.[]
 
 

I got my show prospect Samoyed puppy for $900. Both parents champions, OFA, and CERF. Father has several breed wins and some group placements. Mother's brother was Reserve Winners Dog at our last national. Mother's sister won her class at the national. (Samoyed nationals are a big thing. we usually have 400-500 dog in attendance.)
 
Just posted this to show that a really well bred puppy doesn't have to cost a lot.

Shakespeare came from the HS fixed, shots and chipped for $155 at 8 weeks old.
 
Sophia (hiding head in shame, because I wasnt up on BYBing) came from a BYB out of the paper for $200 at 7 weeks (she is exactly what my wife wanted though)

We were looking for a dog.  My wife didnt want a big one, and I didnt want a small dog, so we thought wed compromise on a Beagle.  We went to the HS and had one picked out, but we were (literally) minutes too late, someone else had their eye on him first.  The next morning we went back at opening time and found Shakespeare (HS name) and his brother Dickens.  My wife fell in love with both and I warned her that he was not going to stay that small for long.  She said thats fine and we started the adoption (Dickens was taken out just a few minutes before)
 
A few months, and several dog growth spurts later, my wife mentioned she still wanted a Dachshund.  On New Years Eve day I was at work and I looked in the paper.  There was an ad for Dachshund/Schnauzer mixes.  So I called my wife and told her.  She ran to the ATM right away and a half hour later she was at my work with this tiny little puppy named Sophia

I got Eevee from the local shelter for $68. This did not include the supplies, but she was already spayed, and we got a certificate for free vaccinations that year.

Shippo was $600, not including supplies, or second or third set of shots, or neutering, but he did come microchipped. Since he came from Canada, the flight was an additional $263.

I think my mother paid around $500 for Rascal. At least, that's what she paid for our Sheltie (lovely dog but huuuuuge for the breed standard) - I think Rascal might have been a bit more as there aren't that many papillon breeders around where we lived.

Cassidy was only $35 since she was a cross breed, and not planned.
Mirelle I didn't pay anything for, since I'm not keeping her, but she's worth a lot I'm sure!
