Weirdest thing your dog has eaten?

What is the weirdest thing your dog has swallowed?

Max ate 3 leather leashes, leaving only the clips, before I figured out that I had to start keeping them in a drawer instead of just tossing them on the table.

Winston has been trying to dig up my grout between my kitchen floor tiles.  He actually got a piece next to a loose tile, and gulped it down before I could get it from him!

Probably paint balls. At least, that made the weirdest poop.

My dogs are scavengars. They'll eat ANYTHING. Bitter Apple is like candy to them. They're pretty gross, LOL. They like to dig up moles and grubs, and catch birds, mice, fish, and rabbits. Yumyum.

Mine kill and gut the occasional animal. Worst was a cow. At least that is the grossest they have ever come home.

Umm, Mic, how on earth did they kill a cow and get away with it?  (If that's too nosy, nevermind).

Shari ate poop right out of Jake's diaper when both were little - although she did leap over the couch from a standing position to get to it.

She also has eaten dirt, outside and inside from my plants (even swallowed the aquarium stones I put on top to discourage her).

She also jumped up straight in the air once to catch a goldfinch.  It died immediately, but I was there to make her drop it before she swallowed.

We lived in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico for a little over a year.  We lived right on the coast in the desert, and there was nothing for about 100 acres either direction.  We would let the dogs out to run, and occasionally they would take down a roaming cow.  They didn't belong to anyone so it wasn't too big a deal.  Kind of gross when they would roll around on it though.  I would have to take them to the ocean and make them swim for half and hour to get all the caked on crap off, and then give them a bath.  So gross!

Oh, the cow thing makes more sense now!  I haven't lived anywhere that cows were strays!

I imagine the stink WAS awful [:'(]

Yeah, but admit it, your dogs LOVED IT!!!!  I know that Nigel LOVES to roll in cow poop when we go camping, the fresher the better in his opinion, and he has passed that on to Sydney.[:'(]  The cows up there really have nothing to fear from my two, as long as the cows are going in the same direction and are ahead of Nigel & Sydney, they will chase them, but let a cow turn around and you had better be careful because you will have a dog running behind you before you know what happened.  My dear brave protectors that they are![8D]

I don't know how to put this delicately... once Ginger ate a used marital relations object, of the male variety. Slurped it up in one gulp - and it came out whole. Imagine my neighbor's horror at me standing out in the back yard shouting into the house, "I found it!! She ate it, she did!!". [:'(]
