Well, it may not be a good brand of cat food but, I feed my cats Friskies Feline Favorites.  The cats love it and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg!  I have 5 cats so I got to keep the cost at a reasonable price.

My two house kitties get Solid Gold Katzen Flocken mixed with NB or Spot's Stew canned. Sometimes I'll throw in some raw meat too if I have any scraps.

The 3 feral barn cats get Purina Cat Chow, which I know is crappy but they barely pick at it. More than half of their diet is rodents that they catch themselves.

Mine eat felidae as their base food.  They also get canned and some raw.

Ours get Natural Balance Reduced Calorie kibble.  Bonkers has IBS, and that's one with just the right amount of fiber and prevents choking on "hairballs," and vomitting (the IBS).  They get NB canned twice a week, some raw fish or meat, and when the dogs get their canned fish - salmon, mackerel, sardines - the cats are at my feet, so they a bit of that, too.

Funny thing, when I saw a feral cat at work, I decided to feed it as it looked so skinny!  I shopped around for some kibble and noticed that the Purina cat chow was one that listed a meat-by-product vs. a grain, first on the list.  Yeah, I know by-products are garbage, but I thought it was better than a grain being listed as first ingredient.  Plus, I took things like bacon drippings (training treats for dogs) and skimmed fat from stocks, and mixed that up into the kibble.  Started easy, then increased the amount.  In about 3 months, this cat was unrecognizable!  It gained weight, and coat became shiny, it was waiting for me every morning!

Edited to add:  I got in touch with a local rescue and we tried to trap it, but this cat would NOT go into the cage.  We did catch a few pet cats, though - LOL.  Yes, they were returned to rightful owner.

Unfortunately, I have to feed a prescription diet--Royal Canin Urinary S/O. Not the most awful food out there but not what I'd be feeding if there wasn't a medical issue involved.

I feed some Chicken soup dry and chicken soup, wellness and eagle pack canned ( or whatever premiums are on sale at the time)  They also get sardines and salmon and mackerel occasionally.

I picked up a bag of Friskies Signature Blend.  This is for  a cat that prefers the outdoors to the indoors and hunts.

My cat gets 1/4 c of dry food in the morning (either Solid gold or Innova Evo) and a 3 oz can of wet food in the evening. I was feeding good quality wet food but I've been having to budget a bit more lately so right now it's Fancy Feast. The whole point of the wet food is for the moisture content anyway imo.

Oh and he gets some salmon oil on his dry food.

I used to feed Authority b/c I have one cat that is sensitive and this was the only food everyone could eat without barfing or getting the runs.  I saw Eagle Pack Holistic on sale and tried that....they loved it!  That's what I feed now, either the chicken or the anchovy.

My kitties ( all 4) are eating precise dry food  right now. It isn't very popular around the forum, or at least I don't know anyone else that feeds it. They do very well on it.
