I totally agree with Gina on tube feeding being the pups best chance, but short term you can drip sugar water under the weak pup's tongue to try to help raise his blood sugar levels.  Make sure you are providing external warmth ie. hot water bottles,or heating pad.  If you use a heating pad, make sure you keep it turned to low & give the pups an area where they can get off of the heating pad, so that if they get to hot they will not burn.  Good luck.

They've all eaten!!  The little boy is pinker and he just got through eating.  He only ate for about 30 seconds and fell asleep but it's something, by God.  So they've all eaten something.  Here's hoping.

I wish you the best for your baby and hers. You did the right thing by having her spayed.

How scary.  I don't really have anything to add other than I hope everything turns out okay.

Glad to hear everything is turning out okay under the circumstances, and that you came back for advice on how to get through this.  I don't have any experience to offer with babies but I wish you all the best!

I'm glad to hear they are all alive and well.  Don't give up!  Keep us updated!   Did the vet do an x-ray before he did the c-section?

I'm really glad you had her spayed. 2 c-sections is plenty for that girl to have gone through. I do feel bad for her having just had surgery and those babies latched on.

I hope the babies make it. Tube feeding is the only way to go and keeping them warm is absolutely crucial.

Thanks for the up date.  I'm sending good vibes for the babies & mama.

So glad they seem to be doing well.  They sure are marked pretty aren't they! Wonder if they'll be smooth or long coat?

After about 3 days w/the c-section she'll feel better.  After about 6 she should be pretty well good to go.  Speaking from MY own personal experience here. I have had 2 of my own.  Wish I could be 'spayed' myself but 'ethically' my OB refused.  Oy.  LOL

I certainly don't need to have a period anymore since I don't want to be pregnant or have any more c/s myself.
