• BEVOLASVEGAS Posted : 1/31/2007 9:09:31 PM I totally agree with Gina on tube feeding being the pups best chance, but short term you can drip sugar water under the weak pup's tongue to try to help raise his blood sugar levels.  Make sure you are providing external warmth ie. hot water bottles,or heating pad.  If you use a heating pad, make sure you keep it turned to low & give the pups an area where they can get off of the heating pad, so that if they get to hot they will not burn.  Good luck. 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available. I do feel bad for her having just had surgery and those babies latched on. I hope the babies make it. • shamrockmommy Posted : 2/1/2007 9:59:32 AM So glad they seem to be doing well.  They sure are marked pretty aren't they! Wonder if they'll be smooth or long coat? After about 3 days w/the c-section she'll feel better.  After about 6 she should be pretty well good to go.  Speaking from MY own personal experience here.
