Well, Strauss makes me think of the 1812 Overture...swear to god he's a cartoon character brought to life.

Ranger makes me think of the rather Serene theme song from the movie Princess Mononoke...seems odd, but if you met Ranger, and you've seen that movie...you'd understand.

There are times when his play makes me think of "Scheherezade" by Rimsky-Korsakov. But his awesome speed reminds me of the tempo of "Run to the Hills" by Iron Maiden.

Well, I used to sing the theme song from The Mickey Mouse Club to Mick, does that count? I also sang "C Is for Cookie" from Sesame Street to him.

Geez, there are so many! It started when Slick was a baby, I used to sing (to the tune of Eddie Murphy's, My girl likes to party) "My boy likes to potty all the time, potty all the time, potty allll the tiiime".

This week's songs include:
(sung to the tune of Sexy Back) "I'm bringing piggy back - Wha?" (he resurrected "piggy" the stuffed pig)
"Show me whatcha got - lil puppy, show me whatcha got - fat boy, show me whatcha got - naughty"

It's just a constant thing.

Tasha has heard Oh Pretty Woman (recorded by Roy Orbison) so many times she actually prances to it. Someday maybe we can take a freestyle class and learn a routine, but right now there are none that are close enough.

Most of my dog's songs are gaelic and would probably bore y'all so I won't list them all. It's irresistable to match the Border collies with Gaelic songs. Zhi's song is "May It Be" from LOTR: Fellowship for very personal reasons. She loves it when I sing it to her.

the theme song from the TV show Monk

One of our favorite shows. We'll arrange the evening around it, unless there's a really good movie, then we'll just watch a later showing.

Ted Levine, who plays the police captain, is an incredibly diverse actor. He played the killer in "Silence of the Lambs." He was the voice of the homicidal truck driver in "Joyride." He beat out two other actors for that, including Eric Roberts.

IZ is the artist and he sings "over the rainbow" in a very Hawaiian sorta way. Ron!!!! can u help me find it on that tube thing you do???? It's such a nice song, It makes me cry because I always think of my Roxie and Dylan that we lost, I guess I'd like to think theyre up there and happy. I pray they are.
