[:D]Post your adoptee dog pictures here!  I would love to see pictures of your adopted or rescued dogs.  I have an adopted Shih Tzu.  He was returned to the breeder and my friend told me about him and now he is here.
    Meet Harley![:D]

Does it count as "adopted" if they were strays?  [:D]

    Of course it counts!

Here's my two. We adopted Brown from a rescue group in 2001, and in 2003, we adopted Grey from the humane society.

I was just going to start a thread like this!! Wow- that's funny!

Here is miss daisy at a "whopping" 9 pounds and a belly full of worms. She is now a healthy 13 pounds and spoiled as ever.
The theory that strays are happy because they found a home doesn't work with Daisy- I think she's caught up in the good life to even remember what it was like to be on the streets. She loves absolutely everybody, and would be perfectly happy living with anybody. Isn't that sad?

I consider Shy a rescue even though I got her from a free to a good home ad. The lady said her daughter brought her home. Shy had bb's embedded in her skin and she was petrified of people. Her first month with me was spent living under the bed. That was nine years ago and now you'd never even know it was the same dog. She's twelve and acts two, and she loves almost everyone (some men are still questionable).

We found Boomer on the side of the road last October. The vet said he was no older than 7 weeks. He had injuries consistant with being trrown from a moving car. Broken ribs, a broken jaw, and cuts and scrapes.

    Well, here are my two.

Romy is the older dog.  I found her in June '01.  She was sitting right outside the door of my work, and she was eating dog food that the UPS man gave her.  He carried a bag with him so he could feed the strays.  (Awwwww!)  She was sweet and timid and very very hungry.  She was only 6 months old.

Winston is my newest addition.  I found him this January.  He was only about 2 months old and he was wandering the streets at midnight.  I pulled over and called him and he came to me.  He was dirty.  His coat was very dry and full of dandruff, but other than that he was okay.  No one ever put up lost signs or lost adds for either of them.

The one of them sleeping is with my little sister.  They were all piled onto the love seat.

Here's Boss about a week after I brought him home and he put a little weight on, he was 8 months. And Gracie was 6 weeks old in her pic the day I brought her home.

Great pics everyone --- Clyde the Golden / Chow mix was a stray, found him eating out of my neighbors cat dish (for stray cats).

Here's Zoe.  She's my first dog ever.  I got her from the SPCA last May.

We found Sebastian as a stray wondering the streets until my cousin found him and talked my parents into taking him.  We took him to a couple boxer breeders and the vet they all said he looked almost 100% boxer.   Once I moved out on my own I tried to convince my parents into letting me take him well that was a no go LOL.
