Heres my angel Kayla who we got from the pound... she was scheduled for euthanization the next day... she died recently but will ALWAYS be my number one angel [sm=angel.gif]

This is Lucy... we found her in the street at 4 weeks with a big gash in her face, we ended up keeping her... shes 2

Here is Minnie, we saw her get hit by a ca and took her to the vet, she had a limp but was fine.  There we found out that her tail had been broken 4 times (different times), vet said probably abuse.  We already had Kayla and Lucy so my mom kept her - but we all live together now...

And here's Bailey... we got her from the pound a week ago

Willow the day DH saw here and then more recently.  In the first picture she was 10 lbs underweight, matted and that chain was almost embedded.

Here's Roscoe the day we brought him home and then several months later. He was a stray that a friend in Missouri found. She flew him to California, and we picked him up in the Bay Area.[:D]

Thank you, looking at that first picture of her is painful for me.  That chain was so tight you can see that her mane was pulling and looked short because of it.  We cut that off her with these huge metal cutters.  To this day, I don't put a collar on her.

What a neat idea for a thread. I adopted Casie about 5 months ago, from a shelter.
She was dropped off by her owners, along with a littermate who was put to sleep because of heartworms. They think she was tied up outside 24/7. She has really blossomed here, and she is just the sweetest dog. Casie is a Schnauzer mix.
Here she is the day we got her.

    And here she is now.

theresamat, you actually have to go to photobucket and save those photos to your harddrive on your computer.  Then when you've done that you click "click here to upload" and then "browse" to find the photo files.  Then be sure and check "embed picture in post" and then you're done.  The pictures won't show up in a preview screen, by the way, so don't think you did something wrong if you don't see them under preview.
