Does not go on daily structured walks.  Lives in the country with 3 acres of property to run, play and explore.
    • Gold Top Dog
    Breed & age:  lab/GSD X - about 2-1/2 yrs. old
    1 walk a day - 2 to 3 miles

We try to go every day - sometimes life gets in the way. Max is very mellow. If we get out, he has a great time.  If we don't, he sleeps on the couch.

    9 month old pitt/boxer mix & 1 year old border collie/husky mix

gosh, as often as I possibly can!!! We always have at least once a day run in the park where they can run to their hearts content. Lately I've been having to bring my bc/husky mix biking in order to sufficiantly wear her out, she just LOVES to run and exercise and I hate running so I've found the bike is the best way to handle that.

Breed and age: 1 3/4 yrs.  Border collie mix

    # of times/day: 1- more if I can find the time

~ distance/day: Depends on where I take her.
The park is a couple laps around the soccer field so about 1/2 mile.  She also gets a lot of play time there so I might just skip the walk altogether.
The college, a good 2 miles around
My neighborhood, about 1 mile around the neighborhood depending on what streets we take, more if she is willing.
It also depends on her, with her HD I can't push her too much to walk if she doesn't want to.

    Breed: Rottweiler/GSD mix; Eight months.

    Number of times per day:
We try to go everyday, but sometimes it doesn't work out.

Distance: It depends on where we go.  Sometimes a mile ... other times four miles.

GSD....4 yrs, almost 4 yrs, 3 years, almost 3 years and 2 who are 16 months.

Now, again we are struggling with this.  I just got the darned snakes to go away and now the hunters are in the woods.  In the brief interlude between the two we were going out daily for romps through the woods of about 5 miles.  We have about 1/2 acre fenced so it's not a huge big deal for them to get exercise since they run and play like fools all day.  We were walking on the county road but the sherrif stopped one day and told me it wasn't safe because of the hunters.....so we  have to go into town for actual walks.  Right now it's just easier to go out and play fetch with them several times a day and make sure they get some good running in on the weekends.

    Molly & Trixie, Shih Tzu's age 4 and 2.
Twice a day, about 1 1/2 miles each walk, sometimes more depending on the weather.
    • Gold Top Dog
Marlowe: Coonhound, 2 years old (ish)
Conrad: Bloodhound mix, 5 years old (ish)

    Times a day: 2
Distance: However far we can get in about 40 minutes. That varies depending on the sniffing that's taking place, though I always try to keep at least 20 minutes as a brisk walk, no sniffing allowed. But I always figure that the sniffing allows them to get some mental stimulation along with their regular exercise, so I generally allow it within reason.
Park: Once or twice a week, off-leash dog park

I was just looking at the Eukanuba "Dog Breed Selector" thingie that someone sent me a link to (that was a hoot--and totally wrong!) and under "Amount of walks you are willing to give per day" the choices were like 10-15 minutes, 15-20 minutes, 20-30 minutes, and "Over an hour". Um. 10-15 minutes a day? What is even the point of that?

My Siberians are about 8 mos. old.  I have to walk each dog seperately.  It is a 20min. or so walk, depending on the day per dog.  They run and play all day long in the yard as well.  They sleep extremely well at night, even when we take them for vacations.

Two Norwegian Elkhound, both a little more than 1.5 years.

We take one walk a day, usually about 2-3 miles. We've been known to walk 4-5 miles on a good day when we have plenty of time. They have a yard for sniffing, so our walks are usually at a fast pace
