What is the one thing about your dog that brings a smile to your face when not together?

Need I say more? []

It worked for me, I've got a smile on my face now!

When Marley is sitting there looking at me and tilts his head like he's trying to understand what I'm saying. We (DH & I) were on vacation and Marley was staying with my mom and dad...when we missed him we would do that to eachother...it made us both laugh!

Her picture on my desk at work is smile-inducing with each glance.  If I'm at the grocery store, the mall, or somewhere away from that picture, I think of how happy she'll be to see me when I return home. 

Trixie looks up, acknowledges my presence (after I've spoken to her in my pet gibberish), and goes back to her nap.  Roxie wags her tail excitedly and focuses everything on me.  That makes me very happy.

How could I forget?    
 
I love Romeo's bone dance:


1.- smells the bone, comes running and stops dead on his tracks
2.- walks very slowly, head goes up a little...sniff...taps nose on the floor..gets closer...repeat as many times until he is almost on top of the bone
3.-makes it to the bone...sniffs, licks, backs away, circles and pow pounces on it
with his front legs...backs away...repeat step 2 & 3 for about 5 minutes (sometimes he barks at it)
4.-lays on the carpet, grabs bone between front paws and starts gnawing away...
gets tired....pants..pants...gets up repeat steps 2-4
5.-finally settles down holding the bone if it falls...looks at his servant to bring closer or hold for a more comfortable angle....[]
6.-tells human I need water, human brings water, Romeo has a couple of licks and rolls over to sleep...[]
 
I need to video tape it.
